I moved from the twin cities in MN to the desert in CA, and I was so used to stores EVERYWHERE. Walmarts 10 minutes from each other. Targets, Chipotle, etc. now I have to drive a half hour to get to a Walmart and the closest target is an hour+ away near Palm Springs.

I live in a city with 150ppl. The nearest mcds, Taco Bell, Walmart, Safeway, etc, is a 2hr drive (RT).
Growing up, the closest McDonalds to me was 226 km away, roughly 2.5 hours drive. We had a KFC, though 🤣
