2002, My 50th birthday, Lake Tahoe. My wife Robin, the consummate sales woman and love of my life, convinced the concert promoters to set us front row center so I could really enjoy my favorite group on my birthday, The Rippingtons. But that wasn't enough, she spoke to Russ Freeman somehow during a break and after finishing the concert we were escorted to the Rippingtons room where we met them, had food and drink and then they were so gracious that we all stood on the bed and they had a picture taken of myself, my wife and the Rippingtons.
