    what other brand TPMS sensors can you program with Autel? I was told by Autel it can only do Autel brand TPMS sensors, but you just proved them wrong. Thanks for the awesome videos.

    • @DIYAutoworksNG
      @DIYAutoworksNG  3 года назад +1

      The tool can relearn 98% of TPMS sensors on the market today, OEM plus aftermarket. It does not have to be Autel sensors.
      However, support for programming sensors is limited. Note that you only need programming if you buy universal sensors. These are sensors that can fit almost any car. Autel MX sensors are the main ones supported although as you must have seen in the video, there are other brands of TPMS sensors that can be programmed. The manufacturers of the sensors will usually clearly mark the sensor as so. These CGSULIT sensors were clearly marked as being programmable using an Autel TPMS tool.

    • @DIYAutoworksNG
      @DIYAutoworksNG  3 месяца назад

      It depends on the method of programming you're using. The type used in the video does not require you to be connected. But if you're doing copy by OBD, then you should be connected.

      It depends on the method of programming you use. If you choose 'copy by OBD' method, you'll have to be connected to the vehicle, but you use the 'autocreate' method, you don't need to be connected to the vehicle. That's the method I used in programming the sensor to the Ford I talked about in the video.
