I've only just come across your video. Really enjoyed it but just a couple of points; the stocks you saw were never used. They were simply a replica to commemorate the reign of Victoria. At 7.00, the 'other little chapel' is actually the bell tower of my old school; St. Mary's C of E Primary school.
The Court House was for the local manorial court of the West Derby Hundred, the subdivision of Lancashire Couty. The Queen was involved because Lancashire is the Royal Duchy.
I've recently really got into Viking history, I find it fascinating learning all about where they settled and realising which part of the modern UK it is so was nice reading that little part about the Viking's cos I never knew that.
Great trip down memory lane for me, thank you.
