LAGA Community Chats

In addition to our group sessions, we launched community chat sessions that feature our students and members of the community sharing their insights, along with walkthrough analysis sessions.
Stephanie, one of our long-term students, starts the conversation by sharing her thoughts on efficient practice routines. She talks about how she advances through the online curriculum and structures her practice routine. As an active participant in our group sessions, her live performances, invaluable input, and unique perspective through her engineering background are always appreciated.
As an actively performing classical musician, Kate shares her insights on performance anxiety, its causes, and how to tackle it. She is one of our long-term students and focuses both on the classical and flamenco curricula. Her informative commentary from a professional musician's perspective is always highly anticipated in our group sessions.
Next up, an active member of our community, Nick, shares his goals, his practice approach, and philosophy. He draws parallels not only between language learning and music but also between guitar practice and sports training as a former footballer. As one of our long-term students, he focuses on flamenco guitar, fingerboard theory and composition.
And finally, our friend and a LAGA patron, Eugene, shares his wisdom, and his return to practice after enduring two hand surgeries, along with some fun anecdotes about Segovia and Montoya. Eugene focuses mainly on the classical curriculum and he has commissioned our Irish Folk Song Arrangement Set, generously sharing his time and resources on Irish music and culture.
