After the betrayal of Man-Bat's problematic feet, I was already becoming trepidatious over the taller 10' McFarlane megafigs. Though Bane appeared to look like one of the more faithful incarnations, there was a literal Achilles heel that killed my hype for any more in the future.

The ankles on that figure are probably the thing that make me want it the most. My biggest complaint about mcfarlane figures, especially the Mega figures have always been the crappy ball joint ankles that Aren't strong enough to hold figures up , especially the Mega figs., these look solid
I think maybe a pair of fists would have been the only thing that could really be added

This is my favorite Megafig so far... The Megafig offerings from McFarlane have all been awesome as far as im concerned. I don't need bane to be spider man... I just need him to break backs and I can get him to do that
Personally, I think it is a beautiful piece that to pose and give a touch of more action to your collection. It is perfect. I have two and I love them. I will soon buy the new one with Batman.
I might redeem myself with this one once that 2-Pack comes out.

Personally im fine with the ankles if you want the feet turned a boot cut or a thigh cut is perfect the McFarlane foot ball joint doesn't really make sense just try to twist your foot without making your whole leg twist..it's impossible

One of my favorite Bane figures. I agree with articulation, could be handled more cleverly. Still massive and solid imo.

Same here. I just bit the bullet and paid resale which was a lot more than I would've wanted, but it's been about a year since the release so I doubt there will be any restocks at this point

Got my Bane on Amazon still never seen it in stores. Only mega figures I have are Darkseid Swamp Thing Clayface and Joker Titan probably the worst of these is Darkseid when I first got him both of his arms fell off.
My joker titan is so fragile, the arms fall out as soon as you move him. Never buying a megafig again
There are a handful of dcm figs that have this type of ankle articulation

I just think of this as a statue. It looks amazing sculpt wise. Articulation doesn’t look too bad, but I prefer him to just stand straight up anyway.
Disagre with the mask should not be black and grey God its the batman canopy all over again. They just lost a sell. A different custom head sculpt might save it ill have to look into dat. Tnks 4 posting got a good look at it.
I really don’t understand why everyone complains about McFarlane! They’re affordable and available! If you want perfection go spend $160-$250 on the storm collectibles Bane! For the $40 price point you really can’t gripe to much!
It suck that the only affordable dc figure are these pieces of shit made by a dark age one hit wonder comic artist. Mafex is more worth 80 to 100 dollars than a single mcfarlane figure I worth 20. You should be demanding more

Great video David ! I love this sculpt . I believe it's from the Knightfall run where Bane broke his back and then we get the armored Azrael Batman for a while . That was seriously a 6 month story that was pretty insane!
When I got this figure his Right wrist and hand were broken and needed some repairing . I also dislike the lack of midsection articulation and the ankles as well. From what I have found the ankles are pretty much that way because of the Boot mold being so large so it's probably just Bane. I don't see any other characters that would be the same but who knows.

I'll pick this Bane up, and probably paint the mast whiter. The Build a figure of Bane in this line was a horrible nightmare and I wouldn't get it.
