That is way out of reach for me. But I have been gifted a Mavic Air 2 and I need to know how you flew yours with litchi. You are the only one I have seen who flew in fpv with a ma2 and litchi. What's the deal with it? What are the limits?

Mine is sitting next to me awaiting it’s first flight tomorrow morning. Spent all day with the goggles and RC in the new DJI sim. I’m with you never put on the goggles. I’m a Mavic Air 2 /mini guy.

I love how real and relatable this is for many of us! I put my faith in this drone once I put in that order with my hard earned money. I'm still on the simulator and though I might not be as daring as you on my first flight, I appreciate this bit of confidence boost.
Your comments are very honest - FPV is not for everyone - motion sickness is real and it can make your sick and when increase heart rate! People need to realise this is not for everybody.

Ordered mine friday with the fly more and that one handed remote thing. Scared to tell my wife. After 2000 on my mavic 2 pro, 700 on the smart controller, 400 on goggles and 500 on the alientech duo 2.. not to mention a 100 dollar case, 100 on the speaker, 75.00 wrap, and all of the little stuff. I just hope im here to get it from dhl. Other wise if she opens it and sees the receipt for another 2k, i wont have a chance to break it. Shell do it for me.😬🤯

Because of the intent of this drone, I will certainly buy the ins. once I invest in this one.

Bro, you have me dying laughing. You’re off the hook with your craziness. Serious note it’s true you can’t fly thinking the drone cost so much because that fear of you crashing or breaking your fpv. When you stay thinking that way it will hold you back from doing things and that fear will cause you to crash or break your fpv. Best review of this drone so far. Coming from a person that flies regular FPV and camera drones this review is by far the most user friendly unbiased review I have seen thus far. I've been watching a lot about this drone not because I want it but because all the channels I'm subbed to have been putting out lots of content on it. Im super glad to see that one of my favorite drone and camera reviewers has done the best job on this so far...you make it real, fun and honest and you speak to the viewer and build their confidence. Even though you were mad you didn't get this drone sooner and put a video out on it I seriously think yours is the most real and honest on useful. Overall and most importantly your personality and attitude go a long way also. Great job man. I'm only just starting out in the world you have been living in with the drone hobby/job...trying to obtain my part 107 here as soon as possible and start doing some real estate shoots and then get better and bigger as I go. Had mine about three times in the air now, only in sport as of yet, but signed that refresh deal so just getting my mind ready for flipping that switch 😅 ain't gonna be nowhere close to the ground, that's for sure this beast scares me 😅
The sim switched the yaw on me and I’m worried the drone will do the same.

@@ricanchulo1414 i bought the drone racing league simulator on steam and it works like a charm. Found it to be way better then the dji sim. You can just plug the usb c cable into your pc and the dji controller!

Great video, Ive had a couple Dji drones to fly for fun but got bored of them fast and sold them. I showed my wife videos of this thing this morning. It’s our anniversary today and she said let’s jump in the car and get you one. So I guess I’m getting one lol. It’s rainy today but I’ll get going on the simulator.
I admire your courage, here in Brazil this drone costs like 2600 usd. There is no DJI care, no state farm insurance and Government sucks taxes from your blood.🤣🤣🤣 So I have to wait a little more to buy it. Waiting for more of your videos.
Best and most straight forward review from a novice pilot I've seen so far. I've owned a couple of mavic drones and wanted to try fpv but the whole building your drone from scratch kinda killed me off. My DYI skills need some work. Seeing this from someone that flies camera drones gives me hope. Good stuff 👏
I was asking myself the same questions (spring loaded throttle or self centered, iphone sim or go without sim, ..). One thing I think is a real challenge beyond skills and price is where to fly it! It requires a lot of space and it is super noisy. Though I like the noise, I don't think the neighborhood will like it much. It's so much fun to fly though!
I've flown zero acro, but I think as a beginner, altitude is your friend.
As a person that's flown everything from planes, helis to every kind of drone. Altitude is always your friend.

Great video! This is what people need to watch. The beginner "FPV/Acro" pilot experience with this new drone. Watching dudes with years of racing drone experience rip around, while giving us a review of the drone doesn't really help. It's not marketed toward those guys. It was made for people like us, that want to learn and fly FPV/Acro, but not go through all of the hassle of the hobbyist method.
Biggest problem is the pilot. They buy this drone and put it in high speed ACRO mode and don’t know how to fly these type of drones and don’t understand how they respond. That’s why your seeing sooooo many crashes all over the internet. Nice drone but way too much money for me. Once these pilots use their 2 or 3 care refresh replacements in a couple months, DJI is going to make a bundle of money on parts. Lol .... As you said, it’s just a matter of time until it crashes.

So far flying in Normal and sport no sim or manual yet. Getting comfortable with goggles field of view and controls. May do M up high with some acro just to get the feel and have something for the sim to attach to when learning.

WOW! Now I'm regretting buying the V1 gear. It's not compatible with Ocusync 3. I have one cinewoop and I ordered a 5" HGLRC Sector 5 v3. I'm using LiftOff flight simulator. But these FPV drones only fly for 3 -5 minutes. And the learning curve is steep!

With a cheap maybe $100 Fpv you can train with a smaller craft before graduating to big 5 inch quads.

You can get a Insurance policy with State Farm for your drone that will protect you if you crash in the someone or their property and will replace your drone
I got one last year for my maverick $60 dollars a year I just ordered this drone when it comes in I’m gonna put a policy on it

The whole point to this drone for people new to fpv is to start out with normal and sport mode before even attempting acro. You cannot discount the 100's of hours most of us FPV pilots have flying full manual. You all see our videos and think its as easy as flipping a switch which is why they break immediately. This drone just takes all the guess work out of FPV as far as building and tuning is concerned but is still a full step below a true FPV drone build.

Nice video! On my end I feel comfortable now flying the FPV through the city, yes through the city in between buildings in GPS mode. I'm practicing to do it on Manual through the simulator. I have not modified the controls because like you said earlier in the video, you like the GPS as well. The problem I am having using the simulator is that I can't seem to find a way to accelerate... do you have any recommendation about it? On GPS mode you normally move faster pushing the right stick, but in Manual does not seem to be working the same way.

Coming from a mavic air, many things were the same, but the higher speed in this drone surprised me in sport mode😁 I just tested manual mode in the sim for a few minutes, so I was not ready for it IRL yet😅 But I’m doing babysteps with it.🤣 Please share more of your experiences with this drone🤗

On your android phone, they told me to download the apk dji fly app download and the 1.3.0 app for the virtual reality to work. You might try to google search apk dji fly download on your phone that might fix it. I watched a video on it.
