Wow! Well it's certainly changed in the years since I travelled to Moscow and Leningrad (as it was still known then) way back in 1987, on an Intourist visit. It was the then Terminal 2, very recognisable from your photos of the time and I remember thinking that it was unexpectedly modern. Thanks for the update!

Please help me! I still don't understand if you still have to take a taxi from svo 1 and 2? If I still have to do that,I will not go through this airport again. Because shermetrevo is 2 airports. Not just one!!!
Sheremetyevo has an underground inter-terminal train connecting Sheremetyevo 1 and 2 (terminals D, E, F and B, C)
