Was in a mental hospital for 3 days last week due to attempting suicide. Every time the devil would whisper in my ear, I would sing this song! And When your don’t have no words to say just say “ JESUS” grateful that God gave me a second change. He proved to me that he is not done with me yet! He loved me when I didn’t even love myself! & for that I will praise him all the days of my life. Mental health is no joke friends. Get the help you need, talk to someone. The devil is real. JESUS LOVES YOU!

It’s 2 in the morning and the devil was literally chasing me in my dreams. I woke up very hot and breathing hard. Then I wake up starting to pray and The Holy Spirit dropped this song on my heart. As I’m listening to it I just begun to cry. God is soo Good. I felt his embracing love like I was a child running into their parents arms. His love is so overwhelming ❤️❤️❤️

This was the song I listened to whenever my chronic migraines would begin. After 6 years of weekly pain from headaches, I am almost 100% headache free. There is healing in His name. 💛

I'm so amazed by how much Amanda has matured from the timid Miss Falk all those years ago into a powerhouse of declaring her - and OUR - authority in Jesus! I remember before she released her last album (Voyages) she spoke about how she had been in a prolonged season of questioning, doubting and not being unwaveringly convinced that the work God was doing in her was truly as good as she knew in her head it to be. She has really taken ownership of believing in her heart that God is FOR her and not against her!!! The way she communicates this in the worship sets is truly such a powerful testimony!!! Brought me to tears!!! Good for you, (and us) Mrs Cook.

Edit: A little context for the story I'm about to tell: Singing is my weapon and my worship of choice. If anything happens, I tend to burst into song. I'm also afraid of the dark. But it's not all darkness. I actually love the dark. But ever since Satan tried to scare me a few years ago with a vision of a wolf made of darkness in the woods, I've been terrified of walking through the woods in the dark.
I visit my grandmother's house frequently. Since she lives about two minutes walk from my house, it's pretty convenient. But sometimes I stay there until after dark, and I have to walk back. If you hadn't guessed already, I live in the woods. So every time this happens, my grandmother offers to drive me home. But since it's such a short walk and I don't want to cause her the hassle, I say "nah, I'd rather walk."
So tonight, about 10 minutes ago, I walked home through the woods. As soon as I stepped onto the driveway, my heart began to race. So as I was walking, I declared that any spirit of fear had to leave in the name of JESUS! And I burst into song! This song, Tremble, completely eradicated all of my fear! I was walking through the woods, hollering this at the top of my lungs, when I saw a streak of light in the otherwise dark woods. And I knew that the Father had sent his angels to guard me.
His light is so bright, even the darkness trembles!! JESUS!

I hear what you're saying, and as a millennial I completely understand as I love Bethel, Jesus Culture, Elevation, Hillsong. But every now and then the hymns that the generations before us sang are timely.
I love the newest worship music, and the old hymns. You have to realize that some of the most biblical and powerful hymns were sung to the current bar songs of that day. This was to reach the lost people who frequented bars.
What made and makes powerful worship, and other Christian music, is truth... The truth of God's holy Word. And, of course, the melodies and music supporting it.

That by simply proclaiming His name, we can arise in boldness, and through His strength and power, have the authority to command the darkness and the demons to tremble, to command bones to come alive, to command the dead to rise, or command our own spirit and heart to press into His presence even more and move every single mountain the enemy lays in our path. How beautiful it is that one name gives us so much power. We are weak and full of fear on our own, and it is through His name, and HIS blood, we don't have to be fearful.
