What a great idea!! Definitely a hat or cowl for both locations, named for respectively!! 🤗 Our local Alpaca farm keeps the yarn named for each animals so its easier to add skeins after the fact. Similar pricing, here. Beautiful to support both the alpaca farm and the wool mill!! I think creating a pattern is a wonderful way to Support Local and Small Businesses at the same time!! I think you'll do great with the DK, as it is only 1 size lighter than Aran/4 weight yarn. 👍🏼
I made the mistake of mixing up DK / 3 weight + Sport / 2 Weight!?! 🤯🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️🙂🙃 It ended up well, just took me a minute to exhale as I screamed, This is Thread! 🤣😂😅😂😂 Wonderful video!

Yay! Thank you! That’s such a cute idea naming the yarn for each animal☺️ I’m definitely excited about designing something with these! Oh no…the tiny yarn and tiny needle fear is real😂 So wonderful that you’ve visited yurt local alpaca farm too!

Hi Sandra! I hope this eases your worries…the alpacas are usually kept in the big open fields but were brought into their enclosure for getting sheared and for farm visits. They all looked healthy and like they were treated well!

Exactly, every alpaca farm I've been to and researched had so many acres, and also an indoor area for both shearing and inclement weather. They are very well cared for.
