I've been in talks with the engineering team & they are aware that rekordbox's track separation is no where near the quality that of serato stems. They are working on improving it however we do not have a date when this will be released. Regards

Hello everyone, could someone tell me what effect it has or rather, how it achieves that "matraca" Or door creaking or "crunch" effect when lowering the two faders in minute 3:26, I know that the beat fx slip roll is on, and that in the sound color fx active the space effect before lowering the faders and getting that sound that I tell you, I am super rookie but I have that flx10 controller, please I will thank you infinitely for your help and knowledge, You who do know and are experts Thank you!!!!
It is at first, just give it time. Me and my buddy use them all the time now, so much fun. Plus recording mashups of your own is one thing i do farely often with it.
Okay honestly @pioneers dj I really love the controller but this shouldn’t be for serato users it would be better this be the DDJ1000 mk2 and then make a serato version 1000SRT mk2 separate with 4 (stem buttons) and the right pad modes 1. Love the loop section I think that should be a standard feature 2. The mixer & stems feature is probably the best feature over seen with it If you agree drop a like or comment what you think about this new controller
not bad feature but master tempo with vocals and that cut off parts drum/vocals sometimes sounds weird - lets say from 320kb's to 64'kbs :D unfortunately nothing has changed in this 'matter' 🤭
Love everything about it…except those mechanical jogs. Pain in the ass for scratching esp if you are light handed. Pressure sensitive jogs are a nuisance. Love my Rev 7 for that very reason 🔥
More I think about it I don’t think “DJ” gear is ready for stem separation just yet. It just simply isn’t clean enough and us djs are all perfectionist so it’s not good enough for me to wanna perform using stems. But let’s hope within the next few years the software will be superb. Maybe they should have tweaked it on the vocals by having a tiny touch of auto delay and reverb or some kind of good preset Fx auto assigned to clean it up a little. But all said that is still one hell of a controller and will only get better as the updates keep coming.

Hi I just joined your house course and got inspired to purchase a better contoller I decided to go for the DDJ as the instructor has that oen and it looks amazing. Now on the waiting list for the 1000 they ask me if I want the FLX10 instead. But I am on a old mid 2012 macbook pro. How can I check if my computer can handle all the stem functionalities and all that comes with FLX10? Or does it matter should I just get the FLX10? Thanks! Love your content and your courses!
Rekordbox comes with stems without even purchasing the FLX10. It's in the Rekordbox program under your track name. For the MacBook question, see if it can run Rekordbox.
Based on my personal experience, you'll probably need a new macbook. I also had the 2012 and it was upgraded as far as possible. I could not upgrade the OS any further (10.15 Catalina, IIRC) and Serato DJ Pro 3.0, required for the FLX10, would not run on that Mac OS. Found a "new to me" 2018 MBP. It's a great controller, and Stems has been interesting to play around with. I haven't tried RB yet, but I'm planning on installing and trying it soon.

Rekordbox Stems are still so far behind on the quality of Serato Stems though

Why is it so demanded when it has lesser stems engine than competiotrs in VDj or serato?

Screen recorder, probably OBS studio. And two cameras (I think), both got good quality recordings

It just got released with version 6.7 of Rekordbox. You have to activate stems in the preferences-> extensions
