That's dope! I needed this encouragement. My hubby and I have created a t-shirt company recently. Our house burned down in July and we thought it would be a good way to earn our way out of the ashes that has become our lives. It's going slow but we practice everyday and I believe we will pick up soon. Gonna have to get some of your stickers so I can stay organized.

Marleny XO I re-opened my shop at the beginning of this month, and I’ve sold 13 shirts so far. You just have to share it on all of your social media once you create the shop, and you’ll get the sales.

Thank you for this video! I have been waiting FOREVER to open my sticker shop. I've been keeping a printer, Cricut machine, and other supplies in my Amazon cart for months, and I finally committed to purchasing them in December. Now I'm brainstorming designs, and I just gotta DO IT. When we first start out, the first few won't be perfect, but we can always look back on where we were and get better every time. You don't know what a blessing this video has been. I've been sabotaging myself for a while to start on Etsy: it's not ready, not good enough, not perfect, etc. It even didn't matter if others told me how nice it looked. My husband told me not to wait until I feels perfect, to work on it while I've started or I'll never start. Your video is the little push that I needed to go for it.Thank you.

I think that it also factors in that you have built such a great 'Budget' brand on RUclips so that when you rolled out your sticker line, people were like "FINALLY" and were already a built in audience. I started my Etsy shops a year ago and have made a few sales in one and none in the other (not sticker shops though) so while I'm glad I started, it's definitely been an ongoing, uphill struggle. One of the reasons I started my own YT is to showcase my items but also showcase my planning journey...

Yes, I will cover that in my upcoming Etsy series. However, I’ll tell you now that I work my full-time job 9 to 5-ish Monday through Friday so about 40 hours of my time are invested into my full time job, 20 hours a week into Etsy & 10 into RUclips. Roughly. Maybe I should actually track it one week 😬

I have wanted to open an Etsy shop for over 2 years now but I've been too scared to do it because I don't want to mess up with anyone's money and I don't know basically how to "sell" my products. Thank you for being so transparent and honest. A lot of people don't like to talk about money. Money isn't everything, but its a necessity to live. I have had my Etsy shop since 2015 and I am looking to grow even more. My sales are int 100's and I know I am capable of more than that. I am a SAHM and its been super hard. I have been use to working since I was 14. I think seeing that I can bring in income from home would help boost my spirit on those "hard days" and motivate me to keep going. Do you offer classes on how to get traffic to your shop?

Did all of your customers come from your RUclips channel? Because I've been on etsy for almost a year and I've made less than you in total! I've made 2449.33 and that is fees and taxes included. I think if that's the case you should mention that in your video. Of course you have worked hard on your RUclips channel so that's why in would be good to mention as not everyone has already a platform established to begin with. I know this is a year old and also haven't watched any other of your videos which i will do so now, but this is what came to my mind just from watching your video and you for the first time 🙂
Exactly what i was thinking, getting 2,600 is alot of money to get in 2 weeks and doesnt really happen to people who are completely starting out and dont really have a following

Thank you for sharing your information and your journey! I myself have been designing and using my own stickers for 3 years. I always have people ask what shop I get them from. When my planner group friends found out they asked me if I was going to open a Etsy shop. I wasn’t sure however my marriage of 13 years ended on Christmas (it’s a good thing) but I want to make a little extra money for my two boys and I to do fun things. Short answer, I’m going to open my shop now very soon!!!! I hope it is successful because I am also a perfectionist. 👍🏼❤️🤓
