Good overview for new players without overloading them with too much info. I'd suggest a guide for each of the starters though Ash, since many will start the game without jumping into videos (and therefore have already chosen their starter champ). Nice work 👍
That's what happened to me, Matt. I just picked up Kael mid-game from a blue shard - need some mid game artifacts etc. Guess I'll have a look round. Recently picked up Dark Elhain too - so again not sure best setup for her compared to 'ordinary' Elhain, who I have to say is pretty awesome all things considered. I have so many (I think) in crap gear tho - especially Ronda - only one of two Legendaries I have so far.
I really like this format. A step by step how too is awesome. And when a player knows enough to say "but what about if..." it doesn't make you wrong, it just means they have grown in game knowledge. (I'm not there yet). Would love to this style for the "play certain number of days" reward champions

Already filling all of Athel's books and getting her to 40, I'm a wee bit torn for investing in him, but already gave him 5 books now as well. I have been using Lifesteal on all 3 of them, and it's been working great.
Athel is good too. Follow build principles for her too. Kael is more useful than athel against bosses and clan boss with poisons so definitely worth investing in him.
@C S I have noticed how nice the poison is. He is at 4-36 at the moment. I'm definitely going to work him up, though they are both blue affinity so they kinda fill almost the same niche in many ways and adding to that Ronda is also blue. I have been getting ripped by anything red. Fun game so far though it does feel like some characters overshadow the others in big ways.

One thing i always notice is in some abilities (as stated in their descriptions) buffs or debuffs only happens when an attack/ability hits a critical, so i tried to improve my critical rate by putting crit rate sets and some artifacts that has crit rate substats, but now seeing several videos from this channel, i think he stated enough that Accuracy rather is important to land those buffs/debuffs. So what actually does help land those buffs/debuffs? Critical Rate or Accuracy?
During the free regearing at new year I build mine with 6k atk and 270 crit dmg in savage and cruel gear. And he have 6 star ascension. He farmed NM campaign in 12 seconds
I have a great arena team (for lvl 63) Lyssandra speed lead, dracomorph debuffer, mashalled set up and debuffer then attacks from leech then, lua wipes all enemies if not then draconian finishes

you dont have a ~1.4% chance of pulling an apothecary from mystery shards you have that of pulling a rare, then on pulling a rare you have a tiny chance again of if being apothecary. You would have to get exteremely lucky to get apothecary from a green shard. You are more likely to get your first apothecary when you are opening ancient shards. Hupefull if you are new you get him in your first 50 or so.
Phantom touch is recommended for a lot of champions but if you have two champions with it, its bad. So recommending a 2nd blessing for each champ would be hugely beneficial
I have 3 60s. I picked Galek. I 60'd him first. I pulled Kael. I have poison champs. Should I waste resources on him? I have a 50 corpse collector that I use for poison. Thoughts?
I got some of the best rare champs on my main account when I first started playing and used them as food. SMH. Im having better luck on my secondaries just because I know more but still sticking with the primary because I've put money into it. Trying to get the referral champs now.

I've been playing since basically the game came out and arguably end end end game player... I have more fun trying to build common and un common champs to see their maximum potential in stier gear.. you'd be surprised how good some are... like better then alot of the legendary champs
Yep, the right way to play if you are end game and not having fun. I find myself building no names, like Axeman to see what he can do. It is really the fun part of the game. It's all perspective!
Best campaign farmer for new players is Saurus. Easy to get, easy to build, easy to book. I still use mine now 2 years into the game because he just works.
can someone explain to me why kael is so light skinned? he looks like a high elf instead of a dark elf and theres art of him with darker/blue skin as if that was the plan
@40% Zed: Kael is a Dark Elf, as in an evil Elf, not a dark-skinned Elf. Skin color has nothing to do with why he is a Dark Elf. 🙄 Edit: Dark Elves live underground -- some are dark-skinned while others are light-skinned. Some games, such as Dungeons & Dragons, refer to Dark Elves as Drow.
I believe that they are called dark elves either because, they joined Siroth (the bad guy of this game) and the adjectif "dark" suit them well, or because they live in Durham forest.

If you use Kael for xp farm 192 speed and atk% on chest on plarium play my kael have 7 to 15 Sec rarely more on clear xD but that was loooooooooong ago xD if you have the lucjnti get to max crit without crit gloves crit dmg rlz
Really should mention with Kael that you only really care to get 85% crit rate to guarantee crit on his aoe nuke a2. Helps newer players gearing for other stats when the extra 15% crit rate doesn't really matter that much everywhere you will use kael. You just need to guarantee aoe crit on waves / arena.

Man I've made so many mistakes with my Kael, I started only 4 weeks ago and put Kael in all Attack Gear 3 sets and I put all the life stealer gear on Sun Wukong and as you'll know it costs a small fortune to remove epics especially if it's from 2 fully epic geared Character's. My Kael is still lvl 50 because I'm working on getting characters I don't mind sacrificing up to 5 stars. I've spent a lot of real money trying to unlock better Champions to team him with but kept getting rares and random epics never any legendary Character's, only legendary so far is Wukong. I spent money also on the energy packs so I could play longer, I have insomnia and a week ago I went 36 hours non stop on raid 😅. But yeah it seems when it comes to stats and the skills say Def I go 3 full Def sets same with ATK or HP, I'm sticking the wrong gear on the wrong people and now it's going to cost me more than I can afford to remove that gear. It's enough to make me want to start again but as I mentioned the amount of real money I've spent this past week around £100 (cough cough) if I start again I've pissed that away for nothing. It's times like this I'm glad I'm single because if I wasn't my Girlfriend would be in jail and I'd just be part of the unlifed statistics 😅.

I recently restarted and I always choose Kael and always have but I never payed attention to building him so tysm for this

Bloodthirst can eventually replace Lifesteal, it keeps the heal 30% Health and gains Crit Rate +12

Shieldguard is a good campaign farmer in my experience, and he's easy to get. :) I stan Shieldguard.

Stage 12/3 has not given me any shields on auto for a good while now, so i do 12/6 instead as it gives more exp and champs for fodder.
