Brother this is one to talk about. Best video yet. I've been playing raids for over two years and got stuck in a rut. Thanks again for giving me a reason to continue playing the RAiD.
Thanks Ash, been playing since UDK came in and I’m still learning as some of these top were definitely helpful.
Tips I'd give myself, if I could give past FailCat a message or three....
Only spend money on 1 and 2.
1 - buy sacreds *ONLY* when they are 5 bucks a pop
2 - daily gem pack
3 - once you've passed midgame and have lydia (you better be doing FW you fool) save that energy... Get it up to 15k. You'd be SO surprised how it will come in handy. A recent *SUPER OP* and VERY underrated "pop quiz" champ is Alatreon Blademaster. No one has him, because you needed like 25k energy... which I lucked out, and had. No one else in my clan was able to get him without spending.
4 - build a 6 star Fellhound if you don't have artak, if you're lucky enough to roll either. You might use him in DT secret rooms, but 6 second 12-3 runs CHANGE the game. Fellhound isn't a difficult build either.
wdym no one has alatreon blademaster? some people have him though and if you don’t have fellhound, bellower can do the same job of beating 12-3 brutal in 6 seconds and i still use him now even though i have fellhound
I'm midgame and have fellhound, how should I be building him? As in, ATK% Chest etc
@MadaraUchiha-ty4rh in sure someone has the stats, but my fellhound has 3.2k atk, 4.8k def, 142 speed, 175% crit dmg

Nice video a lot of great information here. I struggle with Doom Tower and Cursed City my toons are just not strong enough or I have the wrong combinations.
Thanks again Ash for a great vid as always! Id add in: as a new player spend silver wisely- buy all the green and blue shards you can in the market, stay around 12 for artifacts up to 4 star and await artifact events in dungeons and ranking then up to get extra goodies and save up for better gear. I wasted so much ranking 2 to 3 star gear up to 16, only to have to sell it later at a HUGE loss.
Also unless you need it for a set, or it has excellent substats, don't level gauntlets, chest plate or boots UNLESS they're atk, def, HP, crit rate, crit DMG %S, SPD on boots & acc or res on the chest plate.
Can't remember if you did mention it, but also do your missions and challenges. 👍

the tip to ascend Speed boots first blew my mind, never thought of it, but you''re right, speed is THE most important aspect of RAID mechanics, and ascending speed boots first would have an amazing impact on my account overall. great tip Ash, thanks keep up the good vibes! :)

Great content mid gamer I consider myself clued up on the game but you never know everything and still picked up a few tips ...what I did to start was start an account to learn on when i felt confident enough i started my main account,the first account I made quite a few mistakes but my main just a few
I already heard about saving shards until a 2x rolls around. So I pulled Hephraak AND Hellicath during the last 2x sacred shard event. Best advice ever!

@@likelemmyidabasest3882 I’ve got 3 to go then wouldn’t be an issue but as it has been talked about in some cc videos recently the dungeons which are a core part of raid in the early game fall off a lot faster now and there’s almost no reason with few exceptions to dump thousands of energy into an area of the game to sell 97% of the stuff only for the silver which goes down the drain in a few mins with the cost to upgrade nothing worse than getting a piece that’s exactly what you were looking for right set right main and subs and then it doesn’t hit the rolls you want or you go to level 8 get 2 good rolls so you upgrade to level 12 sometimes costing over a million silver to not get an ideal roll but if you get a good roll at level 16 it would be an improvement at least to what is already equipped another 2 mil silver gone and it hit the wrong sub now the piece is useless to anyone because the rolls are too diversified might use it on a champ for faction wars and or cursed city but that’s it because every area of the game where it matters has been optimised now and everyone just copies everyone else and spends silly amount of money to achieve something instead of working for it and doing things their own way I couldn’t even if I had the money to waste because i understand that it defeats the entire point of the game I wish other people would too so gaming can go back to the way it should be instead of evrything being p2w garbage

She'll be your aura champ til you get wukong, prioritize SPD, acc, def and HP. Pretty sure I ran def and HP tree but TBH I haven't done much looking at her build in a long time. 55k plus pl and I almost always use her
May try my six star awakened turvold in crushing rend instead of phantom touch.
Warmaster & Giant slayer specifically say they don't count as an extra hit. These masteries & cruelty can trigger off passives like akemtum's hit on poison, but I'm pretty sure the mastery hits themselves won't trigger cruelty.

This might sound stupid but once i got to the point of stage 20/21 in faction wars thats all i farmed for ages, completely forgot you DO NOT get epic bloodstones to forge perception, now i have a massive amount of legendary but little to no epic and cant forge much at all
I don't know what to say about primal, I got Gharol from 3 hards during a normal pull. i've pulled them for a summon rush. :D

I ruined my best boots because chaos ore... the example in info tab shows helmet, so i saw the primary stat stayed the same... was not happy, lol. Lesson learned i guess

The Sparring pit is the second best place tp spend gems.
imo 1st is gem mine if you plan on playing long run then 2nd is masteries
Beginner tip: try to win tournaments in early game to get your hands on relentless gear. This gets harder and harder to win for f2p or low spenders.
They need to slash champ exp training in half. This would increase plr retention ( make it twice as fast)

Plarium: We don't want one specific champion to totaly dominate one aspect of the game or another.
Me: Getting beat up every time by 1 man team Armanz in arena with my Speed full-team with Georgid in it
I also try to make sure my long term Faction Guardians (Epic, at least) are champions I have use for multiple copies of. So as soon as I pulled a second Godseeker I was checking to see if there was a Sacred Order FG I could replace with her and use the new spare 4* as either a book or chicken. Helps with storage!

So, one minor disagreement here. First level 60... as long as the code is active for Sun Wukong, I'd say get HIM to 60 first. You're welcome to say why that's not a good idea. I'm all ears. :)
Wukong is a slow farmer, that's the reason
@@pleasedont7439 If farming is the most important thing a first 60 does, then that honor should go to Felhound, if you're lucky enough to get one THAT early in the game. ;)

I have a question,if I change guilds clans will lose the rewards I acquired?currently the only member in the guild,put in alot of time & effort on my champions to be able to do clan battle,but now, no clan.😐
If you are worried about losing your clan gold, you will be fine. Any clan shop rewards you bought should also be fine.

Nearly 4 years deep, still never built or lvl'd Khatun, took me couple years to realise Deacon was solid, I'll build her for a laugh one day, Neckmo, Morrigaine, Lyssandra etc seem better.

yes it got buffed maybe a year or two ago, it’s now one of the best debuffs in the game for hydra

I have wasted so many primal shards since they introduced them... I just can't help it and from time to time I need to open them. It is so hard to just hoard shards for so long :P
Just swapped a lot of my champs blessings around, and got more cruelty in my teams, saw a 20-30% dmg increase across the board against Normal/Hard/Brutal Hydra, don’t be like me and sleep on it!😂
I chose epic empowerment over faction guardians for Barbarians, because I have very few epics in that faction. Epic faction guardians benefit only epics.
12:39 Level-6 Crushing Rend ignores only 10% of DEF against level-100 enemies; that hardly sounds massive.
people claim warmaiden is hard to get i disagree! i been running her dungeon and got 4 of her... i spent maybe 500 energy
Hey Ash. I noticed in the beginning of the video you don't have the Rare empowerment filled up. I'm new so that's all I have access to, having zero epic or legendary champions. Can someone explain why those slots aren't filled?
Rare champions cannot be empowered. Only Epic, Legendary and Mythicals can be empowered
Probably space in the storage. There is a limit to the number of champions you can keep.
you asking about faction guardians i think, not empowerment.. so there is like 5 rare champions you MIGHT use in endgame like him. Coldheart, Pain Keeper, Renegade and maybe someone else.. it is not worth keeping all rare champions for 3 speed bonus.. his account doesnt care about 15 speed on rare :D not to mention 3 speed which you get :D
For epic is different since there is a lot more usage of them. i hope i explained it to you :)
i’m guessing you mean the rare faction guardians instead of rare empowerment and i’m guessing that’s mostly because there’s not that many rares that are pretty useful in the end game like coldheart so you won’t get that much value of rare faction guardians. Also it uses a lot of champ storage to store that much rare faction guardians

Honestly....the first primal shard I had, was used with no 2x event, just regular. And i pulled Alaz. Was i lucky? Because i bought a couple hundred ($400) on primals on 2x event and got NOTHING

Primal shards - Never Pull outside a 2x Summoning Event! NEVER EVER EVER - with absolutely no exceptions to that rule...
I Say: Never say Never
For example, if I don't have enough points for a fusion in the champion chase/summon rush, then I also use primal shards. when I have no others left.
Or should I fail the fusion even though I could have completed it successfully? no
In my findings mercies don't always work so I went 225 ancient shards before I even got a epic much less a legendary so I don't even want to hear about when where how to pull them when they don't care if you're getting stuff or not because I reported it and they told me I was a liar and they said that never happens even though I had proof positive that it did

Hahahaha! Yeah, well, I can't get past the gimick "you have to have shields" boss, so there's that.
I've come to hate this game more and more over time, mostly because of the obsession it has with arena. Any more, the only teams I can defeat are the ones who are set up to purposely tank the fight to lose. But the game is set up so that if you aren't doing 50-billion rounds of arena, you aren't actually playing the game.

Plarium is cheating on us. They release a new hero and promise certain performance charakteristics, which makes me wanting this champion.
I want to have this hero and buy a lot of stuff to get him. I pay to get the hero with these warranted characteristics. These performance charakteristics are a liability concerning information.
When they nerf the paid champion, it is like betraying and stealing money with misinformation about this hero.
For example: I pay and spend money to get a Mercedes with 1000 PS.
Then Plarium come around and say: Oh, this champion is too strong and not an meant to be. You get the Mercedes, but now ist has only 200 PS. But i paid money, because they promoised me 1000 PS.
I am so angry about this.
How do you feel about?
Simple Trick: Dont use Energy for the useless Dungeons like Ice Golem or Dragon. Even Fire Knight is now bad.
You watched the hell hades video didn’t you ? He lied. Yea Ice golem isn’t too good, but all dungeons are fine to use when you are early game or entering mid game. Mid to late game and forward they are useless yes but it’s a lie to say the dungeons fell off. Don’t mislead people
So you're saying that savage, speed, cursed, reflex, regen sets aren't worth farming? So what are your champs wearing? All in perception and stoneskin?
@@yungleotheartist3637 I feel like you should wait until the latter half of your mid-game, as you're starting to transition into a proper late game account to stop farming the dungeons
I mean, you *need* at least decent 5-6* gear to get set-up to start marching into the end game, and the only way to get it is to farm it from the dungeons obviously!
Would I go all-in building out Hard Mode dungeon teams? Eh, probably not, unless you just happen to get RNG blessed with the correct champions. (ie: I managed the Gnut fusion last year, and prisim shard events have kicked out both Criodan + Naldor to my account, so I'm kinda laughing in FK Hard potential now! ;-) )

only 3 Sets are usefull. Maybe five. But the Rest is trash!!!. And to get one usefull gear takes so much time.... so yeah it is useless right now.
@@milemile4813 Early through most of the mid game those sets are solid
But once you can *reliably* farm Lethal gear materials? *Reliably* farm Cursed City sets? *Reliably* win Tournaments/farm big events like Gear-focused Deck of Fates? Then yes, literally every Dungeon set is crap.
You only really need 3-4 Hex sets in total on your account, and your (likely mostly Rare) Champions in Stun sets don't care about sets because you're using them in the god-awful Secret Rooms where you just set the game on auto and come back in an hour or so 😛
Now add in also how easy it is to access Bolster, Slayer, Righteous & Defiant from Forge Pass just for added gaks and giggles...
Even if you're extremely low-spend, it's what, $27 or $28(CAN) every 6-7 weeks? You can save that up easily by just skipping 1 daily coffee from McD's or Tim Horton's!
Dungeon sets need help big time to stay relevant by the late mid -> end game
At the *very least*, perhaps it's time to look at overhauling the drop rates so that Hard Mode dungeons can no longer drop Rare level gear? And/or maybe by Hard Mode Lv6+, no more flat stats on gloves, chest, boots with the exception of course for Spd boots?
Maybe even say, Lv's 24 & 25 of the 'normal' dungeons get much better drop rates for Epic & Leggo tier gear drops.
Otherwise, we should just cut the energy costs of the dungeons by at least 50% since they become so pointless for their intended purpose.
