Blimey that didn’t take long at all…! Dead locks on my fan, barrel changed on drivers door and shields on wire loom on doors. Ed locks shephed Leicestershire, best thing I had done. 👍🦊
Instead of music, show us how it looks and sounds! Burglar dont like to be notice.. if banging on that slot cause too much havoc, most of them wont try...
You clearly don’t know much about modern cargo and transport van burglary... have you seen what they do to some vans to get in these days? power saws through the roof, bending doors in half, pneumatic punches through locks... I don’t think they’ll care much about the sound of a hammer and chisel on a lock. Go look at some of the van break in pictures on Sussex installations security channel, I think you’ll be surprised. This is the problem I think for most people, especially van lifers, they genuinely under estimate and have no clue of the lengths a thief is willing to go through to get what they want. They really won’t have an issue with a hammer and chisel.
@@AlexCailliau No, they're definitely not. I wouldn't use one of these locks at all. I'll be going full dead bolts and body clamps. This stuff seems to be a real issue in the UK, hence Sussex Instalations needed approach. Outside of the UK, extra locks, even these ones, seem to be a really good deterent. If they can see additional security it seems to be enough to stop an attempt. Like you mention, they don't want the attention or the hassle. Van theft and break ins seem far more oppotunistic outside the UK. The UK has a very... special... breed of criminal. Like true career criminals... It sucks.
Thanks man, you just save me some cash!
I actually thought it was a product video from Thule showing how hard it would be!
Great job exposing the serious weaknesses of the lock🙏
Back to wiring the door handle for 220v...
Won’t be buying one of these then, thanks for showing
Best solution is what Mr Bean does....remove the steering wheel.
how does that protect the contents in you van?
@@EthanSandomire no steering wheel = wreck car = not interested for thieves
@@pradub3541 most van break ins, thieves don’t even look in the cab, they just break in the cargo area to steal tools.
thule should be ashamed for selling this crap
wow I'm disappointed, definitely won't be buying this

@@neilgooge if so, those locks aren’t stopping them... luckily I haven’t seen such thing on mainland Europe yet...

Noise isn’t an issue if it doesn’t take long. Otherwise, you wouldn’t have people busting windows to get into a car.
I bought 2😢
LOL
Chi si fa strapagare questi prodotti e soprattutto chi li produce dovrebbe prendere meno in giro alla gente
Worth every penny them then eh? Not fit for purpose
