- The Orlando Magic had a simple philosophy at the Bradley Center: Let Anfernee Hardaway touch the ball as often as possible.
Every time Hardaway had the ball in his hands, something good seemed to happen. The second-year guard had a huge first half to put Orlando up for good in a 113-105 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks, and tied the career high for points (35) he set the previous night in Boston.
Hardaway also recorded the second triple-double of his career, recording 12 assists and 10 rebounds as the Magic won their seventh consecutive game.
''Penny's a basketball freak,'' Magic guard Nick Anderson said. ''Just give him the ball and get out of his way, that's what I say.''
This Orlando Magic team (94/95 season) went all the way to the finals that year and they were the best offensive team in the league (110 ppg)... Such a shame Penny was destroyed by injuries and Shaq left to Hollywood.
Orlando won the game 113:105.

Anfernee Hardaway was a talented basketball player. He stood six-seven, and was playing like Magic Johnson, Pistol Pete Maravich and Jerry West-but with athleticism like Michael Jordan. Penny was one of the most exciting player in the NBA to watch when Jordan retired. I really hated to see his career diminished because of injuries. I always thought that he was going to be the man when Jordan retired. He was special-there aren't any players that I know of that displayed that kind of talent like the the way Penny has.
Jerry West? Chill
Prime Penny >>> Lebron.
@@pCOCKPRO11 Jerry West was averaging 27 points per game, 5.8 rebounds per game, and 6.7 assists per game. He was that good. That is why he is the NBA logo
There is no similarity between west and penny from what I assessed. Definitely a magic & Jordan hybrid. He was rangy/long like young Kobe physique wise. But his impact was like a magic or Jason Kidd.
@@youngblood4127it's weird. Penny only had 4 or 5 great years. I know he got injured but his highest avg ppg per year was 22. Holl came back after he was hurt for 3 years and was at 17 ppg and finished his career with 15 5 5 whole penny was 14 4 and 4 . Very close still. Penny could hit the 3 better. Penny made 4 all star games while Hill made 7 and Penny once Shaq left got eliminated in the first round in 96/97 and his career was over pretty much after that.
Thanks for the upload man... Penny is my favorite player, or I can say favorite athlete of all time. If only he stayed healthy for 5 to 7 years, he could be over Kobe and Lebron.
Love watching highlights of this guy, he's so smooth!
Beautiful highlights.. More Penny please.. thanks
penny was special
Yes, it was nice, he did the film, Blue Chips with Shaq.
Dam Penny had freakish hops!!!
one of Penny's best games...He should have been one of the greats!!!
Penny was very quick and athletic for his size! Pippen and Jordan had problems with him!✊👊👍
Another great upload by Larry Legend, thank you!
Its a damn shame his number hasn't been retired by the Magic
embarrassing by the Magic really. And as a Magic fan, they'll never have another player like Penny. Soon it's gonna be 30 years and we haven't seen anyone like Penny again
he woulda been right up there. perhaps top five PG of all time if it weren't for the injuries
I guess so.
Absolutely love it!!!!! I hope u upload more and more penny videos!!!!!!! Omg this video is precious
his trajectory was magic johnson with dunks. definite first ballot hall of famer. such a shame
if you have any more Penny footage it is your moral duty as basketball fan to upload it... great stuff man!
He was so fucking raw
enjoyed watching this so much, thanks
This magic team were incredible in the 90s. Shaq and penny were tremendous together.
Penny was a good passer
ペニーハーダウェイとグラントヒルはスタイリッシュで憧れのプレイヤー。
6:54 Hardaway hammer time.
maaan sooo fun to watch than todays game!!! post moooooree :D
How do you get all of this basketball film? I could benefit a lot if I could get my hands on all of these tapes that you upload. I'm a student of the game, and I would love to study these legends.
Penny!
Chip Caray!
Good game
Looking back at this game from the 94-95 season, who at the time would have thought the Bucks would win another championship before Orlando has even won one?
What the fuck!! Penny had Jordan like offense while having a passing game like Lonzo Ball or Jason Kid 😮
That's why I never liked shaq after he left the magic
Alton Lister gets dunked on again 4:35, Shawn Kemp dunked on him a few years before.
That was not a foul!
