I didn’t mention this in the description of the video, because I didn’t think it would get popular quickly. But the character in the video (her names Tina btw) she’s not blind, she has glaucoma! The little kids in the end are blind though.
Oddly specific. Don't know what that is but it seems to have the same result.

Sun is probably one of the nicest aninatronic concepts so far. No absurd unexplained biting force, no sharp teeth, just a merry robot designed to be good at playing with and watching kids where his strength makes full sense, since he gotta be able to pick them up (and then there's moon, which I'm pretty sure had other, less threatening methods of encouraging kids to be asleep).
Moon was under control of afton like the other robots. Sun was unaffected which is why he is still nice.
Sun is at least strong enough to drag the dead weight of Freddy.

Hell and he might even emit a vibration in case someone is blind and deaf (even if that is very unlikely)
And he lets them find their way to him. Sunrise clearly didn't grab the kid until she had gotten right in front of him. And even then, he made sure to jingle his bells one more time just to make sure the girl knows that he is the source of the bells. He's a very gentle giant.
Reminds me of Santa since he laughs Ho! Ho! Ho! When he jumps from the castle into the ball pit.

I love how once Sunrise picks her up, the entire daycare becomes visible. She's still blind, but at the start only the floor immediately around her was lit, for she was lost and scared to go anywhere. But then at the end, she realizes she has a friend who will happily find her and comfort her again. And thus, she is no longer afraid to explore, despite not being able to see.
Imagine sunrise (or sunny as I like to call him) adopt an abandoned child as his own, like a mother just leave her kid in the daycare and never return to pick him up, so sunrise take care of the child as his own and become almost a father like figure for the kid, it could have been so wholesome

This is honestly so cute, and it really shows the whole basis of Suns character. He is built and designed to work with all kinds of children, blind, deaf, etc. It's just a really awesome detail that I think gets overlooked a lot

Since the moment I saw Sun, I knew he was something special.
I remember clearly walking into the day care to see this strange, unheard of(to me) animatronic. Immediately, I was thinking in basic FnaF terms: get away from the children eating soul sucking animatronic.
But instead, he picked me up into his arms, and immediately try’s to tends to our needs. Yes he seems off, commonly speaking with unintentional mannerisms, although it seems Suns intentions are pure, merely wanting to entertain us, presumably until our parents show up.
Even so, I was still thinking FnaF logic: hOly ShIt He’S gOnNa BiTe Of 87 Me IsNiN’t he?
But no…
Instead, by defiling the property of the daycare, I distracted Sun to escape him. Escape is a harsh word though; he mearly wanted to protect and satisfy me until someone takes me away. As I ran, though, I’m pretty sure I caused an unintentional glitch, because Sun stopped dragging me back to his sacred barrels. Instead, he just stopped and stood there, playing a depressing idle animation. He clutches onto his head, shaking back and forth as the discordance of the symphony of random noises the daycare emits echos throughout the daycare, and into his brain. I interpret this special idle animation as a sign(for those keeping up to date on Security Breach’s lore) that William Afton is seeping his way into Sun, just like the others. Although…
He doesn’t go crazy.
Yes, at the end of every hour, he comes out due to you “staying up past your bedtime”, although that’s Moon, the more corrupted side of Sun. Not the one we know and love, Sun.
Even after your ban from the daycare premises, he still won’t attack or harm you. He gets annoyed, but doesn’t rip your spinal cord out. Even with a secret path leading back into the daycare, he STILL doesn’t slice you in half. I personally feel Sun is still watching us, though, as to guarantee our safety, even with his annoyance to us.
This animatronic, nay, this mad lad, is everything William and his original coworker(please excuse me, I forget his name) probably always strived to achieve. A simple, easy to stare at in awe, friendly attraction. I’m so, so, so happy this franchise now has its first two (actually) friendly animatronics: Glamrock Freddy and Sun.
His happy demeanor, cheery pep-to his step, and wholesome vibes make him probably my favorite animatronic EVER in FnaF, and that’s no exaggeration.
Although, this is a god forsaken COMMENT, I really should get to complementing the video, right? Let’s see here…

I wish they'd tell us whether sun is aware of the child disappearances and if sun was just trying to keep us close by him so he could make sure we didn't "disappear " as well. God my heart is so warm and soft because of this. Somebody should show this to the guy who voices sun and moon . I REALLY hope the dlc will let us see moon before he got hacked. I wanna beat up afton for that but I ll leave it to the animatronics.

I love Sun's design and character. He seemed so patient and polite on trying to get Gregory not to break the rules. He is so outgoing and chaotic with so much energy. He's so good with kids obv and was designed to help and play with all kids def, blind, etc

this is so wholesome. its easy to forget that all animatronics were most likely like Freddy in wholesomeness levels before they turned evil. Like Chica's "Your parents want you to follow me!" was probably supposed to be a way to get kids to trust her so she can help them, Roxy's "Are you hungry?" and "Are you lost?" was most likely a way to ask kids if they needed help, and Monty's "Hey! Little guy!" is just cute in a wholesome context. Its hard for me to say stuff about Moondrop since he's creepy af, and one of the messages ingame shows that (after staying at the daycare, a kid was scared so bad he couldnt sleep with the lights off anymore) but Moon did have good intentions
About moon, he was hacked to a more.. violent degree? since he was strict before being hacked, he wouldn't harm children, h ewould just get mad because he wants children to have healthier sleep schedules
Moon is a rule enforcer, on multiple levels. When Afton heightened negative attributes on all the AIs, Moon got hit hard, to the degree we see in-game. Conversely, Sun got hit with intrusive controlling and anxiety, while both of their overarching influencer got saddled with severe OCD.
Each of the others are intended to be friendly as well - Chica is somewhat withdrawn and helpful normally, but was altered to be gluttonous and manipulative; Roxy is competitive to a lighter degree by intent than what she is in the game, heightened to give her a hatred of succeeding competition and potent imposter syndrome; Monty is ambitious and has controlled anger, but become excessively so and lost control of all his emotions; and so on. Each was once friendly to children, and their other attributes have reasons to them, albeit the game doesn't state as much as it should due to production time shortening to a high amount, but they're personalities you can trust as a kid: Freddy isn't afraid to make big decisions and is very knowledgeable and caring (he's consumed by grief as a result of Afton's influence, rather than turning murderous, but seems to resist it somewhat), Chica is helpful and is intended to inspire kids to be physically healthy, Monty is intended to teach the lesson that one can have problems they work past and deal with and be scary in appearance and some actions but trustworthy overall, willing to do what's right, and Roxy is supposed to be caring for those in need.
Also, the issues each has have been around for a while, so Moon has been off like that for longer than just that night. That's why children were scared by it.

Maybe it's just his Moon side that has been hacked. I mean Sun was warning Gregory to keep the lights on, maybe keep his Moon side at bay.

@@cyakatuka Nah. Sun was hacked by Vanny and Glitchtrap which then turned Sundrop into Moondrop. I don't think that they would have legit built in a murderous IA into him, that's very not child friendly!

Animations like this make me so happy that I've been a part of the FNaF fandom for a long time. ^-^ It's so amazing to see such a talented person making beautiful animations about characters that didn't have all that much time in the spotlight!! Great job, and I can't wait to see more!!

This is some random theory that might not make sense, I’m not totally caught up on lore so this might be wrong, but I’ll just say it anyway
I was always kind of confused why ‘moon’ was a part of him at all. It would make sense if he just suddenly became aggressive for some unknown reason, but the fact that he had an entirely new outfit means some of it was probably intentional to some degree
I wonder if ‘moon’ was supposed to be kind of the boogie man for the children who don’t want to go back home. Like all the kids who are hiding in the playground and refusing to go back to their parents, the parents can say “You need to get over here RIGHT NOW young man, or MOON is gonna GET YOU!!” And the children are all like “awwww… Fine, I’m coming.”
Maybe if a child is still refusing to leave, then Moon comes out to be the bad guy and find them and take them back to their parents. But they didn’t want to associate leaving with Sun, or none of the kids would like Sun anymore, so they made Moon to keep them from getting scared of Sun and to separate the two entities.
Again, I’m not totally caught up on lore, so there might be some other reason ‘moon’ was a part of him, but I just wanted to suggest this to give a real reason why he had an entirely different form prepared for the lights being off.
Sounds a bit right. My mom made up a story when I was like 6 of if didn’t come to her in five minutes she will say “Hurry! The big black scary dog will get you”

I do find that funny to think of him that way, but moon was corrupted by vanny. Moon had been out so when all the animatronics got corrupted sun wasn’t since he wasn’t out. Moons original programming was to calm children and make them comfortable enough to sleep, or provide a small punishment if they refused most likely a form of time-out definitely not killing the child or physically harming them.

Another theory is that moon is the way he is because he was programmed to be like a security bot, the opposite of sun. To keep robbers from entering the building and the daycare center. Thats why he seems so aggressive. He was programmed to be more 'protective', to keep them from wondering off during nap time, or to keep unwanted guests from entering the daycare when its dark. Sun was programmed for entertainment-
Moon was simply built in as a guard bot during a specifically designated nap time we can assume exists in the daycare.
He’s not supposed to be dangerous, that is due to Vanny hacking him.
Moon was just as benevolent as Sun once upon a time from what we can assume.

Aw! I would have loved to see the sweeter side of the animatronics like this. I'm genuinely curious of what they were truly like before they were hacked into being dangerous child hunters for Springtrap and Vanny. Actually, thinking about that makes me really sad. Makes me wonder just how differently things could have gone between them and Gregory if they hadn't been corrupted. Maybe they all could have been friends like Freddy and Gregory were. And I bet there were kids who visited the pizzeria who did genuinely consider the animatronics friends. I'd love to see an alternate universe where they could have all been happy and true to themselves.

I like imagining moon being sweet like this before vanny or afton hacked and corrupted him. I like to think he's the animatronic that would hold you and sing you a lullaby if you woke up from a nightmare. God I hope we see these guys again in the dlc.
This is perfect. I've always been fascinated with the idea of the animatronics as they were INTENDED to be, without William's demonic presence using them to his advantage (I guess with the exception of the Sister Location animatronics, who were canonically designed for the purpose of capturing and killing children) but Security Breach was really the only game that gave us even a small glimpse into that world that the night guards don't get to see.
I still really wish there was an ending that didn't involve mangling the Glamrocks for parts; imagine an ending where you work to remove the virus and return the animatronics to their purer purpose, finally giving us a bright and friendly Freddy's that isn't a deathtrap but instead the wonderland people like Henry probably wanted it to be

I really like the story-telling aspect of this video. We can tell that the kid can’t see not just by her glasses. The way she clung to the play set and only looked up at sun when he picked her up, little things like that. The animation is so cute too :)

I love him so much, this is so sweet and it just goes to show how perfect his character design is, and how he can play with blind children (with the bells) and mute children with sign language. He's such a sweet boy and hes my comfort character... i don't see how anyone could dislike him. I love this video
This is a big part of why I love Sun from a design perspective, even from the small amount of time he’s seen in-game it’s clear he was designed to be great with kids. I fully believe that when non-corrupted this is how he (and his Moon side) would behave and it’s adorable. From an animation standpoint, using the sparks as a visual cue for the bells was brilliant, and the little endcard with Sun being surrounded by kids is a great way to end it off

Sun’s design is so cool and worked really seeing that he’s a daycare attendant. He has bells for the blind kids, he probably knows sign language, and he plays with the kids. The same goes for moon, (except for the playing part)

I read the description and to be honest I never even thought of that, that’s a very interesting concept-
Sun Genuinely loves his job. He loves kids and he cares deeply for them! Moon... I'm unsure why he's programmed to go nuts after the lights are off...
I dont think he is programmed like that I think originally he was more kid friendly than he got hacked by vanny and now is really hostile

sun drop is easily my favorite and not because: "he has a cool transformation and ink he kinda looks cool" but because he tries his hardest to make kids of all ages and status smile, even if they are blind, deaf, anything. he tried to keep gregory occupied until morning and tried to warn him about moon. sun is just a goofy, warm hearted, pure charterer, there is nothing you can say to me that will change that.
