steve petsalaris there is no light levels anymore, only normal levels up to 40
PlanetDestiny so we still have to re level the other 2, yeah ill just delete them and start over, so much for becoming a legend.

Maybe if all these story bits and cinematics were in the Original Release many of us would have cared more about future expansions. Damn Shame. I wont be in a rush to pay for this, hell ill likely wait till Destiny 2 as im sure horde mode gameplay is about the same.

You hear about them stripping your gear basically making you regrind all over again for the new crap?
I imagine this will happen every year. They make all previous content completely pointless because you can't become invested in your armor and weapons because they get locked off at a certain level.
Crotas end,everything vanilla (vog etc)house of wolves and so on serve no purpose with them locking off all of the content from those areas of the game.

Martini Gasalini Its ironic you say that but the reason they sacrificed there vanilla game was to make the game we wanted, it was a genuis idea, but executed terribly because activision were money hungry. But where it all stands now, most people gathered that the first year of destiny was a huge beta, because bungie were scared to make a game they wanted to make, incase people didnt like it. So they scrapped everything, gave us a shell of a game and worked off it, the taken king is a product of everything the players wanted.

DailyGamer Let me know how that works out man. I'm still salty as fuck, over this whole game from the start. I REALLY want to like it because it feels so great as a shooter. But I just can't feel it because the game is so lacking in context, and content. If this expansion is the glorious coming that you all think it is I may give it a try but until then I'll be more than happy to watch and wait.

I mean it makes sense. In halo we were friends with the covenant for a little. Maybe fallen and guardians team up against the taken. After all, the army is made up of fallen/hive/cabal/vex that have been stripped out of their time, transformed, and released as taken

Chris Deebo Personally I've spent more time on this game than all the titles I own on PS4 combined. Value for money Destiny is great for me personally. Honestly $40 is a drop in the ocean for how much extra time this will give me in game. I'd rather spend the $40 knowing I'll at least get my monies worth in time spent compared to buying a game I may only play for 5-10 hours before putting away forever.
