Exports came out 1984. I had the first run. You got a great sound out of that snare.

Hi i just bought a fiberglass kit no heads on yet you seem to be using black dots and hydraulic heads are they the best match for this kit ? Have you tried anything else with them. It sounds great Thanks

Hi, thanks for watching. When I bought the kid it came with the black dot hats. I switched them out with Remo Colortone in Red to match the kit. Haven’t tried anything else out yet, but clear pinstripes also would work very well with it.

I currently use coated Remo Ambassadors on top of my set of WFG. They get a real nice warm fat sound. I hear that for an original sound, the black dots are a very good choice. I often wonder what clear Ambassadors would sound like? But l haven't switched to try them out yet. Great sounding drums.
