Im currently 24 years old and I am shipping out to Army Basic Training on November 13th. Im excited and cant wait to start my journey. I have gone through a lot of ups and downs after high school but I have learned so much from those experiences. I finished my Associates Degree so it benefits me by giving me better rank so it overall built my character up to this point.
New to the channel & going to become a recruit after my birthday man just seeing you all & hearing your life stories & advice motivates me, plants wisdom in my head especially when bro on the right said “learn from your past that prolly would have kept him out a lot of trouble”. I rejected going to the military bc of friends & how some family kept bringing it up & stuff but hey I am now realizing I should have went when I was in rotc in hs shooot. God speed gentleman in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
20 years old joining the army, just got a 91 on my asvab 🎉🎉. Ur channel has really helped inform me and ensure that I'm making the right decision. Thank you sm bro 🔥
@lucassantos9841 Bro I'm 20 as well and joining the Navy. I'll be around 26 years old once I get out. I kinda wished I joined when I was 18 but I'm also glad I'm joining this age cause I matured a bit compared to when I was 18.
I like that you didnt talk about yourself too much and make it seem like you made a better choice than them but instead you stayed humble and had them express their thoughts and listen.
17, currently trying to enlist, I almost went guard, got disqualified at MEPS, finished asvab, finished medical, I need some waivers so please pray for me I really really wanted this for my life, I want to serve God and serve my country and I hope and pray God can use me in the Army if it’s his will. Note: going active duty not guard. My guard recruiter quit on me, active duty guy told me he’ll help me out. God bless
1. Take advantage of the opportunities when they present themselves. 2. Be disciplined and consistent with the process of your goals. 3. Use your past to fuel the future.
College is a waste if you're planning on Degrees that are over saturated fields. Like Business Management, Engineering, Accounting etc. Trades, Tech Schools, Computer related Certifications, First Responders like Firefighter/EMT and the Military, Offshore/Oil &Gas Industry are the way to go.
When I graduated, I was working and doing college. Was too focused on working overtime and tryna get a car and just worried about the wrong things when I had the opportunity to be focused and do better. Now I’m in military and don’t want to be in debt and trying to do better and collect those benefits.
Hey mate, loving following your content. I'm also in Gen Z, and likewise chose Army (albeit as an Officer, specifically Dental Officer - so props to you for being in dental). I definitely do see lots of value in young people pursuing university regardless of field, or potential job prospects as it builds a diversity of thoughts and ideas which ultimately adds to our society. It's definitely not a black and white "College is a scam", or "don't pursue a trade". Being in Dentistry (the broad field of science/health sciences), I have definitely been guilty of meme-ing Arts students, but now having a partner who came from an Arts background, I definitely see the value that degree has provided her (and provided to me as well), despite the uphill battle finding secure, full-time employment. Keep up the good work man!
I think those guys should have joined the military first and then use the GI bill to pay for college or a trade while serving rather than go into debt.
That's what I'm doing. Don't know what I want to do. 20 years old shipping out the end of the year in the Navy as an air traffic controller. I'll get a degree once I know what I actually want to use it for.
21, went to college about to go to the army 😂 go to college if you know what you want to do. But don’t waste the money if you don’t. Plenty of time to explore while you’re young
What a great discussion. I look at parents to know the potential of their kids and guide them properly. It sounds like your parents supported your decision to join the Army.
Just took my ASVAB yesterday and got a 50. Now I’m just waiting until I can go to MEPS for my physical. I plan on doing what u did. Military instead of college.
Coming from Washington, I’m thinking about joining the army but I just need to stop smoking weed. I heard stories and seen recruiters go through basic withdrawing
Aaron. You are the one that should be happy that you joined the military. Out here in the civilian world, it’s sucks and life is truly miserable!! If I could’ve did stupid stuff like getting married because of loneliness, etc, I would’ve did things way different!!💯💯
I decided not to go to college after highschool and looking at it now maybe I should have went, on the other hand though I’m about to join the air force at 23 years old I’m going to MEPs on Tuesday hoping I’ll be able to get the Public Affairs job because I’m really into videography and photography
Can you make a video about joining the army older… I’m 36 made no money with my real estate license since I got it in 2022, before that music millennial grind in the 2010s. Natural bodybuilder currently
I can feel the bond amongst you guys… it seem very strong,so Aaron, can’t you just convince them to join you in the Army? They look so stressed out and dont really know what to do for themselves… it’s pretty obvious tho
I plan of going right after highschool 17 mabye 18 19 I’m a smart kid and k know everyone in mh family wants me to onto college I’m getting all sorts of awards rn and honors classes so I knwi what my mom will say my dad I know will be supportive I’m pretty sure him and his buddy were in the Air Force but idk what happened there weird- anyways I don’t want to go to college I hate school as it is and if I don’t end up in the marines I’m not working a desk job anyways #Bluecollarworkers
Hey man, right now I’m 24 and I’m working security and right now I’m still not sure what to do since I don’t like school. I was thinking on doing army for 4 years but i don’t know if it’s too late and too old
Hello Aaron I hope that you're fine by the grace of Almighty May I ask you a question if you don't mind. Can a Bangladeshi Person🇧🇩 join U.S. Army🇺🇸??? What are the requirements do I need?? Please reply, I am confused about that.
as a 16y old who also plan's on joining the military but has certain disabilities after extensive research, my advice would be to just do your own research on the disabilities you have and see if you can still join the military with them and also research what MOS'S (aka job's) you can still do with your disabilities and then try to physically prepare yourself as much as possible and also try to get wavers on everything you can
@@landenjones9374 I’m 16 too, and one of the disabilities I have will 100% keep anyone from joining but you can get surgery to fix it (planter fasciitis), and the other is arthritis in both of my hips from football injuries/hip surgeries, and i dont think that will keep me from joining, however I do think it will limit my ability to do certain things, but I still have 2 years to figure it out, and best of luck to you!
How do you feel about college? ‼️ LIKE THE VIDEO ‼️

I will pray for you. Remember: Seek ye first the kingdom and all else shall be given to you besides.
