Bford, the Cherry Blossoms are a type of tree planted all over in DC at the Tidal Basin. They were a gift of friendship from Japan, and given to us in 1912. Every spring they have the Cherry Blossom Festival where people from all over the world travel to see the trees after they have bloomed. I am a DC United fan and lived in that area my whole life. It is a beautiful sight. You should check it out sometime.
I was about to comment this! I love this kit so much and I was sad that Bford ranked it so low. The cherry blossoms in DC are some of the most beautiful outside of Japan, and the history is incredible too! Truly something that I would highly recommend seeing to anyone going to the DC area in the sprin.
I love the Minnesota United kit. Four years ago I got to see them play against a team from Costa Rica. Such a great atmosphere. If you’re ever in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, I highly recommend.
I used to live a mile away from Allianz for 3 years and caught a couple games. Beautiful stadium and incredible fan base. Absolutely love the kits to go with it this year
Its clear to me after watching a few of these videos that pretty much every kit is loved by someone. Really great crop of kits this year, even if some of them are divisive.
I really like the minnesota kit. As a finn i am hoping for austin fc(they have ring and now väisänen) and minnesota (robin lod) to win the MLS this year!
Most of the MLS kits are excellent. Adidas clearly put an effort to the kits like they did for the WC and Manchester, Arsenal. My top 3 pick would be Galaxy, Timbers and Seattle. I think Charlotte, New England and Atlanta are also great. But like i said many great kits.
I'm a little bias but the sounders have the best one imo but if I had to choose a different team it would definitely be Minnesota, their kit looks absolutely awesome, also ik as a Sounders fan I'm not supposed to give props to Portland but their kit looks good too, really fitting for them
My Favorite 5 Kits and Why: San Diego Earthquakes, different blue shades and shapes NYCFC, pattern and Etihad Airways (I'm a Man City fan) Minnesota United, Unique and a really cool design Philadelphia Union, Union fan and nice yellow/blue design Chicago Fire, design looks like their flag, which I like (not in order)
As an Arsenal fan, I 100% agree that the sponsor makes a massive difference. My absolute favorite kit was the old O2 blue from the early 2000s (I owned it in Ashley Cole, and eventually the "C" wore off and people kept singing "Ole Ole Ole Ole!" at me in public). I think the Arsenal kits looked way better with the O2 than with Emirates.
That Austin shirt is great, love it, Seattle too... I think the DC one would be great if the cherry blossoms were a brighter colour, the Toronto one isn't thaaaat bad, sincerely a Canadian
From a Inter Miami who’s new to supporting I have the 21/22 season the pink shirt home (to get signed) black and with my name the 22/23 is the same, Miami is very disappointing I still going to rock the 21/22

Ima have to disagree, respectfully. I think Austin FC is bottom tier. It’s hard for me to look at. I also think Seattle’s kit is overrated. The design is awesome but I think it’s to much on a kit and I don’t like the yellow with the bright red. Nashville’s are badass, sure they are simplistic but they page homage to Johnny Cash and all black looks slick. For that same reason, I’d place Inter Miami way higher, the black and pink give the Miami Vice feel without over doing it. D.C.s kit is beautiful and one of the best, the only thing that holds it back is the the Cherry Blossoms probably won’t be as visible on TV. I may be biased but I think ATL should be top 4, sure they are going back to something very similar to their debut kit but they’re going back to what works. That kit is one of the cleanest in MLS history. Minnesota is champion, unique but not to flash or hard to look at. I agree that Toronto is atrocious lol
