@@dharhanwulf9035 never said anything along those lines, the remake is okay, looks fantastic too. But there's a lot when compared to its original counterpart that never translated into the remake. My opinion may be biased in nostalgia. The possibility of a 100% accurate remake would nice, my hopes on any of this are non existing however. I've played both, & classic ff7 is still better imo. Remake looks better. Otherwise it's a massive display of compromise also imo. As one of the most revolutionary games of all time, the remake should have sought to change as little as possible. With some details and interactions being completely cut out, other details and story elements were edited too, while this doesn't present any significant changes to the story it does present changes and erases some original details. For a game as historic as ff7 let me clarify, they should have only sought to update graphics and such respectively.
