A possible counter to Perish Song would be to drown out any sound based moves by simply being louder. It can't really do anything if the target doesn't hear it. Is it just me or, does Lance seem to treat Ash like a younger brother?, It just gives that impression with the way he teases Ash.
that would not work as no matter how loud the pokemon would be the perish song would just be muffled that's it which i think it's as soon a pokemon hears the perish song it starts the timer im not sure on that part. also i agree lance does treat ash like a younger brother
@dreamingdao I was just thinking that, Because Perish Song is a sound based move, And the Soundproof ability exists, Then would sound moves only work if the target hears it? I think you can kinda see my reasoning, But with it being a FanFic, Hard to be sure if the author went with a similar idea to work with it as a concept.
yeah i can see what your saying that would probably only work with tangrowth or daze and maybe sneasel by freezing his ears or something like that it would be hard and more then likely if the creater does something like that it would be tangrowth
