I know this is about Sung Jin-Woo... but I can't help but feel this is actually a song about DPS. You killed this track man, I absolutely loved the novel and manhwa, and this definitely did it justice and then some. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to listen to this on repeat for a few hours.
This track hit different. I keep seeing you push and innovate every song you release, and as an artist myself I really recognize and appreciate your dedication to it. I couldn't disagree more. This didn't feel like Sung Jin Woo, it sounds like a generic DPS song skinned for Sung Jin Woo. And that's already on top of the fact DPS basically only makes one (I badass hear me roar) song theme-wise to begin with, which, imo, doesn't at all fit Sung Jin Woo, as he does not at all have that sort of vibe.

About 30 to 50 chapters to end of the manhwa, Sung is the strongest there is, and he most definitely has a "do not fuck with me or family" vibe. He even said he would fight every hunter in the meeting hall if they went after his father. And in the light novel, when the orcs attacked Jin-Ah's school, it was stated that he told Igris (I think) to escort her out not for her protection, but because he didn't want her to see what he was going to do to the orc. And Dps' style is most certainly not monotone. Yes, that might be what he does a lot of the time (30% - 40%), but that is not all he does, or has done. With Split he conveyed confusion, viscousness, and overall badassery. With Grave he brought forth the theme of willing to kill for the greater good. With Breathe he showed helplessness and determination. With Triple Threat he showed appreciation, familialness, and over all love for the nerdcore community. You can never say that Dps is one note or inflexibility.

I'm a bit late, but this is my fav DPS track of all time. I had the opportunity to react to it, throw it on my playlist, and listen to it over a couple dozen times before I commented here. Just to make sure I really dug the song that much. This along with the batman track are my top 2 of this year. The amount of flow switches, tiny intangibles, adlibs, and production side sound effects made thing song on a whole different level. It has such a high replayability value. And that's already on top of the fact DPS basically only makes one (I badass hear me roar) song theme-wise to begin with, which, imo, doesn't at all fit Sung Jin Woo, as he does not at all have that sort of vibe.

About 30 to 50 chapters to end of the manhwa, Sung is the strongest there is, and he most definitely has a "do not fuck with me or family" vibe. He even said he would fight every hunter in the meeting hall if they went after his father. And in the light novel, when the orcs attacked Jin-Ah's school, it was stated that he told Igris (I think) to escort her out not for her protection, but because he didn't want her to see what he was going to do to the orc.
And Dps' style is most certainly not monotone. Yes, that might be what he does a lot of the time (30% - 40%), but that is not all he does, or has done. With Split he conveyed confusion, viscousness, and overall badassery. With Grave he brought forth the theme of willing to kill for the greater good. With Breathe he showed helplessness and determination. With Triple Threat he showed appreciation, familialness, and over all love for the nerdcore community. You can never say that Dps is one note or inflexibility.
