Ruba Katrib and Yasmil Raymond, 3/26/24 - SAIC's Visiting Artists Program

Ruba Katrib (BA 2004) is curator and director of Curatorial Affairs at MoMA PS1, New York. From 2012-2018 she was the curator at SculptureCenter in New York, where she organized more than 20 exhibitions. In 2018, Katrib co-curated SITE Santa Fe’s biennial, Casa Tomada, along with José Luis Blondet and Candice Hopkins. Yasmil Raymond (BFA 1999) is an author, curator, and rector of the Städelschule and director of Portikus since April 2020. Raymond was associate curator in the Department of Painting and Sculpture at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), New York, from 2015-2020. Prior to MoMA, Raymond served as curator of the Dia Art Foundation for six years. Katrib and Raymond are co-curators of Rirkrit Tiravanija: A LOT OF PEOPLE on view at MoMA PS1 through March 4.
