when i did track staff for FD in 2010 i was walking back to the track from pits and he offered to give me a ride out to the infield and told me about the car and how he got into drifting
really nice guy 10/10
Mike is one of the most chill humble dudes on any grid. I went to ATL for the second time in 2016. And it was a former friends first time going to a FD event. We went in like 8 A.M in the morning before all the people really started rolling in. We walked over and asked a question and chatted for like a solid 45 minutes straight. Just causal conversation and questions here and there like we'd known him forever.
My former friend was super tense and nervous to talk at first but once Mike told em to just relax and we started coversating it was much more chill.
The thing is most of these guys are chill as hell. They love the sport, and love the fans and most are willing to just chill and vibe like anyone else. Most people's bad experiences come from picking poor times to talk to them. Like don't try talking to them if they just came off a tough battle, in a middle of repairs or doing something important.
If you catch them in down time or whatever, or even just casually walking through the pits or in the stands they're some of the most fun guys you can hang out with and chat with.
Yep, he loves the sport and wants to share it with everyone.

Dudes always been a humble dude bro, Fursty and Xbenzv (His partners merc) are iconic in the street scene here in nz, so they were always active, approachable and just genuinely good people, Rotor corner was where it was at early late 90s early 00s🤘
I like how Daiki is super soft spoken and then get him behind the wheel and he's super aggressive lol.

I believe Daiki was like an intern from the auto school that became an actual employee and friend. And I would say they're teammates but not in an official manner.

Japanese make the funniest sounds when talking. Not words but the way they express like "ahhhh!" Or "ohhh!" My daughters mother's mother is from japan and the sounds she makes always cracks me tf up.

Sammit you need to go back and watch the video clips of you letting the steering wheel slip on rebound.. the spokes hit your hand hard enuf to slow the wheel.. might be why your hand was hurting so bad.. maybe try swapping wheels..
