I feel this warm feeling in my chest when I listen to this. I feel like the world is telling me to take a break for a little while, stop and smell the roses. I feel like I can step away from my life for a period of time - I won't feel the gender dysphoria, anxiety, stress, unhappiness that are constants in my life. this is totally different from the original version. the original sounds like something you'd hear on an adventure- like going to find this lost city or unlocking all the secrets in this abandoned castle you found or like waking up and the sky started raining crystals or smthn.. but this sounds more the reprise, the aftermath of it all, the ending. it sounds like learning the ways of the people from this lost city, or finding someone's long lost enchanted possessions that they've left behind in a castle, or seeing everyone slowly walk out of their homes when they realize the shard rain is over... i also had stardew valley in the background and the nature bird sounds but added that extra little flair :0

I'm gonna be honest. A lot of the time i think the acoustic versions of songs are better. It just highlights the beauty of the voice without the background, this is no exception.

I've listened to this song every day since its came out.
Mxmtoon, I suffer from severe depression and anxiety and I just got out of the mental health hospital Tuesday. In the hospital even though we couldn't have any device's, your songs were the things that kept me going and motivated to talk to the therapist's, and take my medication to get out of there.. I even learned the ukelele in there to learn your songs.. I bought a Luna yesterday too. I wanted to tell you this so you know how much you inspire people, and how much you are an influence in people like me, or anyone else's minds. Keep being you, okay?

i was running up my street, feeling my hair blowing in the wind. the golden sun shone on my face and the frozen air nipped at my nose, but i didnt care. this song made me feel so alive. i ran into the house to grab my skates, and ran back to the lake. though i was by myself for most of the hour, i felt like i was actually living my life. for the first time in years, i didn't care about how i looked in public. i didn't care that i looked like a boy and i looked lonely; what mattered was that i felt like the only person in the world. my childhood is slipping through my fingers, but every now and then, i come across a perfect song that reminds me to hold on to the simple things. i hope i never forget this.

i’ve been listening to this song a lot more recently. it makes me feel a sense of realization. when you sing “take your time enjoy it, every fleeting moment” i can’t help but think about all the amazing times i’ve had with my friends, family, and just in my life. it almost reminds me to just sit and watch, you know? to observe the amazing moments but make sure savor that amazing feeling you are left with. watch the way your friends laugh at the smallest things and look at every little detail, every smile line
but make sure to laugh with them. never take those moments for granted. you have to remember you will continue to grow no matter what you do or what you experience, so make the most out of everything. challenge yourself, and take those chances. even if you don’t know where you will end up. keep moving and don’t stop until you have to.

I can’t really describe it. Saying it hits different is true but it isn’t a good enough explanation. Fever Dream puts me at ease and honestly, it puts me back to when I was a kid and when times seemed easier and just gives me a ton of nostalgia. Now I’m going into high school, it’s hard to believe that so much time has passed. It’s pretty scary thinking about it but this song calms me down a lot and I’m confident that i can take on what these next four years have in store for me. Thank you Maia for creating such a beautiful song, it’s really helping me continue to stay strong through hard times like this and please continue to create beautiful songs 💖💖

The original is this heartfelt song that screams about how boring life can be, and about how many of us want more then repeating the same day over and over, and this version is that same song, but it’s more tired. It’s like this one is so over it that’s it’s calm. They work together and it’s great.

I’ve been going through some rough stuff lately but I listened to this song tonight, the original was already my favorite song but I wanted to hear the acoustic version. I laid down, and found things that were good about myself. Found the things that make me happy and everything worthwhile. Reminded myself that people love me. I don’t know what it is about this song, especially this version but it just made the night a little more bearable.
