I have it too and I have noticed a few things that help me survive, you just need to rest and sleep a lot, the cough is weak and bearable when the air in the room where we breathe is well heated, then the cough is not deep and painful, if I just leave this warm room and find myself in a cold place the cough attacks like crazy until I can't breathe sometimes or until it sucks out, what is in the stomach and ends with small vomiting, I think in my room is 28-30 degrees all the time, I have also noticed that warm air cannot be humid, so I keep the window slightly open, just enough so that it is warm enough and the room does not retain moisture, humid air causes me to have apnea, stop breathing, it is as if the lungs stopped in the middle of a breath, it is quite frightening and I always jump out of bed and stand on the floor after that, holding the window slightly open this problem disappears, it is better to eat fruit in small quantities because there is nothing to vomit with coughing, drink a lot of tea with honey and wait, unfortunately doctors are so lazy that they do not even mention what is really the only medicine and can shorten this tiring disease

It’s literally never ending!! I’m so sick of this illness!! 🤧 doctors asked if anyone in my household have caught it.. i said i’m the only one that has so he said it’s definitely not whooping cough then.. BUT I HAVE ALL THE SYMPTOMS!!! I was never vaccinated as a baby but my daughter and partner were.

your lungs have temporarily lost the ability to clear dirt and particles and will last for a while longer. If you breath through your nose , it'll filter out some of that and you will cough less

Thanks for this video. My children are in the 9th week. It's horror. No sleep for our children and for us. Constant fear of not being able to breathe. Now I'm in the 5th week too. At first I had cramps in my stomach area due to the strong cough. I ended up injuring a bone due to my cough and also had unbelievably bad pain with every little cough. With my children it is less now, but it is still there. Vaccinate yourself and your children against it if you haven't had it. It's a really bad disease and no doctor has diagnosed it in us. We figured it out ourselves after seeing the symptoms on RUclips. Unfortunately too late.

@@tabindafatma6275 Hello and thank you for asking. Interestingly, I had significant dizziness during a coughing fit for about two weeks. Twice I was briefly unconscious and didn't notice the subsequent fall with minor injuries. It's been going well since this week and basically good. The only problem that one of my children and I still have is climbing stairs. It basically triggers the cough. 20 levels are enough to trigger violent coughing that lasts for minutes. But at night we can finally sleep peacefully again.

This is a terrible illness. There is no adequate testing. There is no adequate vaccine for adults. I've had covid 19 during the pandemic, that was like an itch compared to Pertussis. In the middle of Paroxysmal stage, violent cough, blackouts, stomach muscles pulled to pieces, no sleep. I'm 57 and lived in the UK all my life. Never had whooping cough, and have never known anyone have it until now.
This is a definite pandemic and needs to be addressed. Eight babies lives lost so far this year to whooping cough, how many through covid19 ?

I've had this for around 4 months. At the start when I was having a cough I went to the doctor and they just said it's maybe just a bad cough. Then weeks later I was woken up in the middle of the night with a coughing fit and then being totally unable to breathe for around 60 to 90 seconds which was petrifying. Doctor couldn't do anything. Had these coughs / severe breathing issues for around 4 or 5 weeks. Now I am still with the cough but it's not as bad and the whoopnis still there but breathing issues are only a few seconds. It's scary and the worst illness I have ever had...

I’m 46 and was never vaccinated. Got it from my 10 yr old after we went to the England Brazil game at Wembley where I think he got it. My son was vaccinated as a baby. My doctor referred my details to UKHSA who never called as had been led to believe they would. Guess there’s too much of it around for them to trace. The difficulty breathing is the scariest part. After 6 weeks I’m still producing the thick mucus that makes it difficult to breathe although coughing bouts have reduced. Had Amoxicillin after 1 week (no affect) then had clarithromycin after 3 weeks, which did help to calm the bouts a little. It’s weird how the nose suddenly produces mucus during a coughing bout and eyes suddenly go bloodshot but the crackles on the chest subside with good rest, lots of water and deep breathing. Box breathing is helping me get rest and mini naps during the day, however can’t sleep on my side due to painful ribs/diaphragm.

I read from a researcher doctor Suzanne Humphried she told to take 3.75 grams of powder vit C per kg of body weight with bicarb of soda, divided over waking hourd and to bowel tolerence when your body has its limit it will make you ...ease off for 30 mins then take again makes a nice fizzy drink and bicarb removes the bitter taste. Along with drinking plain water ive been taking now for 10 weeks and its really calmed down the cough and makes life easier .. ive had asthma in the past so its tough without the Vitamin C, the vit C counteracts the toxins from the bug and also breaks up the mucus so you can clear your chest n throat ...everyone should be advised to take this it makes life so much easier. So thankful I found this out albeit 3 weeks into the bug

Commonly used medicines in the treatment of Whooping Cough are: Pertussin 200, Drosera 30, Coccus Cacti 30, Ipecac 30, Kali Carb 30 and Belladonna 30.
These are all homeopathics. My kids, 3 and 8, have it now week 3. They are getting over it quickly. Barely any coughing fits, just at night. About 7 grams of powdered vitamin c each day is given to them. We haven't done antibiotics, as I have read it doesn't really work.
They cough a lot in the night and spit up tons of mucus. At first, I thought it was vomit, but it's stuff coming from their lungs, which is good. Good luck!!

It's terrifying when that happens. You will breathe though as your lungs are automatically programmed to do so. Even if they stop for a few seconds. Your epiglottis closes when you cough t and it gets swollen when you have whooping cough and opens again slowly which means you find it harder to breathe When it happened to me I blacked out, but came to quickly breathing normally. I think it's a bit of anxiety about it for me as I have asthma.
It scares me and my throat tightens. I try to breathe through my nose when it happens and down to my lungs that way. It seems to help. It's very scary.

I have a 1 month old baby with whooping cough. So far we have been told that we should only call hospital if she turns blue.. I am not sure what to do? Is there any way i can help soften the symptoms?

@@FAZALWAHAB-kp5ln They said the same thing for my girl.. It seems a bit insane to give that advice right? What I realised is anytime she has that cough to sit her upright, pat her back firmly, if she is struggling to breath gently blow on her face until she comes back to it.
I have also been trying as much possible to keep windows open, get fresh circulation.
Breast feeding I heard helps the baby with antibodies, so do as much of that as you can.
It will pass soon, inshallah for the both of us .
