chûay dûay, pǒm/chán dtìd yòo nai hông nám ช่วยด้วย, ผม/ฉันติดอยู่ในห้องน้ำ - Help, I'm stuck in the restroom!
dtìd ngaan ติดงาน - Stuck with work
bpai mâi dâi dtìd ngaan ไปไม่ได้ ติดงาน - Can't go, stuck with work.
dtìd ติด - Attached or sticking to something
sticker dtìd hǔa, kǎen, bpàag สติ๊กเกอร์ติดหัว, แขน, ปาก - A sticker stuck on the head, arm, or mouth
dtìd ติด - Being closely associated with someone
pǒm/chán dtìd pûean mâag ผม/ฉันติดเพื่อนมาก - I am very stuck to my friends.
dtìd ติด - To be addicted to something
dtìd lâo ติดเหล้า - To be addicted to alcohol
dtìd bù-rèe ติดบุหรี่ - addicted to cigarettes
dtìd gaan pà-nan ติดการพนัน - To be addicted to gambling
dtìd jai ติดใจ - To really like something or someone a lot
pǒm dtìd jai kâo pàd ráan née mâag ผมติดใจข้าวผัดร้านนี้มาก - I really like the stir-fried rice from this restaurant.
dtìd ติด - to be contagious
pǒm dtìd kâi-wàd jàag khun ผมติดไข้หวัดจากคุณ - I caught a cold from you.
dtìd ติด - Something is operational
ติด (dtìd) - It started
ไม่ติด (mâi dtìd) - It’s not working.
sà-dtáad dtìd mái สตาร์ตติดไหม - Did the car start?
sà-dtáad mâi dtìd สตาร์ตไม่ติด - The car won't start.
sà-dtáad dtìd láew สตาร์ตติดแล้ว - The car started.
bpèrd fai dtìd mái เปิดไฟติดไหม - Is the light on?
fai mâi dtìd ไฟไม่ติด The light is not on.
fai dtìd láew ไฟติดแล้ว The light is on.

chûea nai เชื่อใน - Believe in
pǒm/chán chûea nai dtua khun ผม/ฉันเชื่อในตัวคุณ - I believe in you.
chûea wâa เชื่อว่า - believe that
pǒm/chán chûea wâa khun tam dâi ผม/ฉันเชื่อว่าคุณทำได้ - I believe that you can do it.
chûea เชื่อ - To trust someone or something
pǒm/chán chûea khun ผม/ฉันเชื่อคุณ - I trust you.
chûea jai เชื่อใจ - trust, to believe in someone
pǒm/chán chûea jai khun ผม/ฉันเชื่อใจคุณ - I believe in you.
chûea เชื่อ - To obey
nág-rian dtông chûea fang kroo นักเรียนต้องเชื่อฟังครู - Students must obey the teacher.
rao dtông chûea fang hǔa-nâa เราต้องเชื่อฟังหัวหน้า - We must obey the boss.

เก็บ - To put something away in a specific place.
gèb dtó เก็บโต๊ะ - tidy up the table
gèb kǒng เก็บของ - to put away things
gèb sûa-pâa เก็บเสื้อผ้า - To put away the clothes in the bag/closet. (emphasize clothes)
gèb grà-bpǎo เก็บกระเป๋า - To put away the clothes in the bag. (emphasize bag)
gèb เก็บ - To save something for later
gèb ngern wái súe bâan เก็บเงินไว้ซื้อบ้าน - Save money to buy a house.
gèb wái kin เก็บไว้กิน - Save it for later
gèb เก็บ - To keep something secret
gèb kwaam láb เก็บความลับ - Keep a secret
pǒm/chán jà gèb kwaam láb née wái hâi dee ผม/ฉันจะเก็บความลับนี้ไว้ให้ดี - I will keep this secret well.
20:14 4) tíng ทิ้ง - To throw away
tíng man bpai ทิ้งมันไป Throw it away!
tíng ทิ้ง - To leave something behind
tíng ród wái nêe làe, dǐao bpai sòng ทิ้งรถไว้นี่แหละ เดี๋ยวไปส่ง - Leave the car here; I will take you home.
tíng ngern wái nêe làe ทิ้งเงินไว้นี่แหละ - Leave the money here.
tíng ngern wái hâi 50 baht bon dtó ทิ้งเงินไว้ให้ 50 บาท บนโต๊ะ - Leave 50 baht on the table.
tíng ทิ้ง- Abandon
tíng pûean ทิ้งเพื่อน - Abandon a friend
tíng mia ทิ้งเมีย - Abandon your wife
tíng pǔa ทิ้งผัว - Abandon your husband
tòog tíng ถูกทิ้ง - To be abandoned
pǒm tòog pûean tíng ผมถูกเพื่อนทิ้ง - I was abandoned by my friend.

tay náam sài gâew เทน้ำใส่แก้ว - Pour water into the glass.
tay(slang) เท - Abandon
pǒm tay khun ผมเทคุณ - I abandoned you.
pǒm/chán tòog tay ผม/ฉันถูกเท - I was abandoned.
27:49 rin ริน - Pouring something slowly and carefully
rin wine sài gâew รินไวน์ใส่แก้ว - Pour wine into the glass.

26:32 เท in this case we say . “She stood me up “ or I was stood up” when someone is supposed to meet you and cancels at the last minute or does not show up at all that is to Stand someone up. We do not use abandon in this context . ครับ
I have really enjoyed studying thai with your guidance. I have been able to speak enough Thai after a few weeks to converse with people. Also I'm able to hear each individual Thai word now. I thought that would never be possible thanks again
