I am concerned that someone dropped a $1,000 for defective shoes and doesn’t know if she should return them or not because she won’t be guaranteed another pair. Are we really going crazy over what has now become high priced junk?! What type of choke hold does LV have over people?! It’s obviously an abusive relationships
I didn’t share my thoughts to criticize her decision; I respect that she’s human, and how people choose to spend their money isn’t my concern. My intention was actually quite the opposite, but while some understood that, others missed the point. My goal was to raise awareness about the sale of defective Louis Vuitton items. I believe there’s a better approach to highlight what should have been done, focusing on constructive feedback rather than being disrespectful or harsh. Sometimes, a gentle nudge in the right direction can be more effective.
I would 100% return. For the price, they should be perfect. LV’s quality has gotten so bad and they are not even checking items. They seem to not care. If they get enough returns of defective items maybe they will shape up. I don’t understand those who would keep an item that is clearly defective like this. Those pink lines would drive me INSANE knowing what I spent.
I would talk to a CA to see if I could get a replacement rather then return them and hope to get another pair later. She should be at the top of the list because she is not returning, just exchanging.
I’ve had bags with flaws and the flaws drive me out of my mind and that was all I could see. Other times I exchanged the defective bag and all was right in the world. Aren’t we total suckers if we keep shoddily made items ladies?!?
I received my bag today! I chose the Venice back pack. However no special packaging there was a itty bitty spot of residue it almost looked like it was cracking at first but I carefully rubbed it off second thing I noticed was a piece of hair stuck on the top handle as if someone tried it on and their hair got stuck 🤦🏻♀️ I am so disappointed of how they handled all of us as customers.
i’d keep them, the hassle of rtn/exch. would be too stressful. but how disappointing whoever packed it should be held accountable too. for the amount of $$ spent, LV needs to do better.
Literally in a similar boat and editing a video about it. Just got my Romy card case today and the monogram is not straight. I’m going to call to see my options
Yup, I would return. My NF was defective, but minor and I could fix it myself. I decided to keep for the same reason of not wanting to miss out. But this is something she can’t fix! $1000 😢 terrible. What a bummer
Keep them, especially if they are no longer available for purchase. She can always sell them later, which I am sure there will be a buyer. The shoes are still Beautiful ❤
If you others including herself can notice when she is wearing them looking down I would consider returning. But if it is visaible only I upclose I would keep. TBH they ar so pretty I think I would keep but thell the CA so they can make it up to her by perhaps sending them to be "cleaned" or hooking her up with another hard to get items. . Maybe leather surgons can fix this if she is willing to pay? Marquita do. you think there will be another small drop like there was few days ago? Or is this it? Are they still making them or are they onto the next thing? what rumers have you heard? thank you aso I don't have any SLG
She should take it back in store and ask them to source another pair for her. If she really loves them then she shouldn't mind waiting up to 3 months for it ( I suspect they are making more of certain items since items I ordered on launch day has a 3 month "lead time" but don't know if those mules are beingproduced in this 2nd run). If they have absolutely no stock then I would just get a refund. In 2-3 years time, when these items are no longer hyped and dated, she will regret having kept them. I've watched so many youtubers say how desperate they were for palm Springs mini and some kept items that were slightly defective because it was the last one etc but now say they no longer wear it or are selling it.
@ the stitching on the strap was popping so they sent a new strap, now the fabric on the zipper looks like it’s coming apart in a way. I sent it out and they had it for 4 months waiting on the zipper to become available. Long story short they told me the small zipper cannot be fixed. 😭
No, that is not acceptable. I'm tired of companies getting away with poor quality with prices just getting higher and higher. We can't keep letting companies get away with giving consumers poor quality for how much we are paying for these items.
If I still liked the way the shoes looked on my feet, I would keep them. Probably would not be able to notice the issue when wearing them unless you really got on floor level and stared at them.
Well as of right now there’s sizes 38, 39, & 40 available to add to cart! I would try to order again and once order confirmed, shipped and received I would return the other defective pair! I don’t think I would Keep the defective if re-order isn’t an option because she paid too much to have defective shoes. So sorry this has happened to a bestie!
If she really wants them and they can't be replaced she should return them for repairs. They should be able to remove that stain. There plenty artists out there that do this on custom LV bags.
I just bought these same mules on the website yesterday. Yes it errored out 3 times before I actually got them. We’ll see if I actually get them. Something so small would not bother me. That’s just me.
I guess I truly don’t care that much because I wouldn’t care about those pink lines! They’re shoes and I wouldn’t expect some wear and tear at some point
Can it be repaired? How long will the wait be? I would tell her to get that info and that would determine if she should send it back. If it cannot be repaired send it back! If they don't know for sure or if she asks another leather expert and they say no then return them. She should decide based on repair options and the length of the repair time. They are summer shoes so if she can't enjoy them by the warmer months send them back!
I think she should go in store and see what they can do. Maybe LV can find another pair in her size that doesn’t have any flaws. I’m sure someone in the world will change their mind, don’t like, or maybe the shoe doesn’t fit.
I would return them. They should be perfect for the price. The second shoe I couldn’t see any of the red glazing on the right side of the center piece. Plus the glazing was really less than perfect quite sloppy looking actually. I would have to get over it and find something else. Louis Vuitton should do better and where is quality management. It seems that they don’t care. They have some kind of rush to make sales. I believe sales have been really stagnant for them over the last few years and people have been over LV and the canvas for a minute now. The brand had really died out to some degree. They’re trying to bring back some type of hype. ❤
No no and no I would never keep anything with that big of a defect! You’re always going to see it and it looks awful. Sorry no matter how much I wanted them.
I’m sure they will exchange them when they’re back in stock. You can’t pay top dollar for luxury and not get what you pay for. It should be perfect and if they can’t exchange them, unfortunately these things happen and she will have to miss out🤦♀️😞
Tbh, personally I’d keep them only AFTER contacting LV to see what can be done. It’s noticeable to her but probably to no one else once they’re on her feet, however spending 1k on a pair of shoes means they should be in pristine condition! This is unacceptable, so sorry for her 😔
I would seek either a refund or an exchange-those are the only two options I would consider for Louis Vuitton. Offering them an option is an act of grace! As a luxury brand, I should be able to shop with full confidence. Frankly, when I spent $1,000 on a pair of slides, I anticipated having peace of mind with my purchase.
We all know they should be in PERFECT CONDITION. EVERYTHING from LV should be in perfect condition. I would call customer service and see if they are coming back. If not then if she can live with it, for 1000$, than keep them...if not return GOOD LUCK!!!
I’m sorry if I paid $1000 for a pair of sandals, I expect them to be perfect or close to it. See if they can fix them if they can’t fix them. Send them back.😂😂😂😂
Send back. Thats too much money to spend on a defective item. It’s too visible. It would bother me. If someone else notices, they’ll think they’re knockoffs.
If she can live with the defect meaning if it’s not that big of a deal she should keep it. Personally I would just return them for 800 dollars these shoes should be perfect
Consumers needs to stop accepting medicore merchandise from high end luxury retailers just because the product is no longer available. LV knows this and when the defective product is returned will ship this item back out to the next unsuspecting customer.
I think it's easy to remove. If she dont dare herself,a leather expert etc could fix it in minutes. When its not structural ,I could have lived with it. Idk.
Because of availability, I’d keep them and wear the heck out of them. White multi won’t be so pristine after a few wears so lines may not be as noticeable amongst regular wear and tear. On the other hand, each time I see those lines, I’d be pissed.
Louis Vuitton should be able to fix them. It’s not an either or.. if they can’t help her, I have a guy in Malibu, if it’s still standing who can fix anything named Levon
I wouldn’t be able to fully enjoy the shoes knowing they came to me new but with a flaw. My brain wouldn’t let me rest. Those would be sent back for a $970 plus tax refund!
You know that’s very easy to fix with white shoe dye /paint. I could fix that in under a minute. And they’re shoes, not a bag, they’re going to get beat up and worn out. Just enjoy them, wear them a lot and get your money’s worth. If she doesn’t want to do it, a skilled shoemaker can. But let her check some tutorials online, I’m sure your friend can fix it. Use a light touch. No one will know

Wow, keeping defective product just because you are afraid to never see them be replaced is such a sad decision to make.
I would 100% return. For the price, they should be perfect. LV’s quality has gotten so bad and they are not even checking items. They seem to not care. If they get enough returns of defective items maybe they will shape up.

Yes, I'm boggled by how many people are saying to keep the item...do they work for LV? 😂
I’ll explain my take. I don’t let little things bother me. I have a chill personality. That’s why.
@@katemiller7874a chill personality and accepting less than what you literally paid for are two totally different things
I’d return it
I would talk to a CA to see if I could get a replacement rather then return them and hope to get another pair later. She should be at the top of the list because she is not returning, just exchanging.

I saw these mules and love them. They are on the site as notify now.
i’d keep them, the hassle of rtn/exch. would be too stressful.
but how disappointing whoever packed it should be held accountable too. for the amount of $$ spent, LV needs to do better.
It looks like guidelines used to help center the leather bow. Most, if not, all shoes are crafted by hand. I wonder if it’s removable. 🧐
Literally in a similar boat and editing a video about it. Just got my Romy card case today and the monogram is not straight. I’m going to call to see my options
hell yes i would return it!!!
I’d return it or have them replace or repair it.
Return them
I would see if something like a magic eraser could remove the marks? like someone else said, they look like guide marks to center the bow.
I would keep because white toes are gonna look great in those shoes.
No way. They are defective. Not worth the price at all.
Do people resell shoes? Seems kind a wrong.
@teoleno4019 all the time. Besides, the shoes may still be new, don't know. Just making a suggestion
Yes I totally agree.
If you others including herself can notice when she is wearing them looking down I would consider returning. But if it is visaible only I upclose I would keep.

😮😮😮 RETURN 100%
I personally would return. I tried to ignore some flaws from my mini bumbag and I regret it
What was wrong with your mini
@ the stitching on the strap was popping so they sent a new strap, now the fabric on the zipper looks like it’s coming apart in a way. I sent it out and they had it for 4 months waiting on the zipper to become available. Long story short they told me the small zipper cannot be fixed. 😭
TAKE THEM BACK. LV is lacking their quality control and we are paying a premium for these items. So not worth it!
Goooo back. Look at the glazing
I just purchased a pair online through notify me yesterday. I would try that option first before returning. 😢
Yes I got a pair yesterday as well. We’ll see if I actually get them.
I’d return regardless of the price. Never settle for imperfections x
Try to see if they can honor some sort or discount for the defect. If not she can try to sell them online
LV doesn’t give discounts
No, that is not acceptable. I'm tired of companies getting away with poor quality with prices just getting higher and higher. We can't keep letting companies get away with giving consumers poor quality for how much we are paying for these items.
Currently on the website size 38 and 40 are available
If I still liked the way the shoes looked on my feet, I would keep them. Probably would not be able to notice the issue when wearing them unless you really got on floor level and stared at them.
I see them available online
@EnodsiaMoss The she can exchange them, if they have her size. She has 30 days to do so.
THAT’S CRAZY HOW THE STOCK WORKS. I’ve been trying hard for her reaching out and they were out of stock when I checked at 3:00pm cst
I see them available too in size 38 and 40
@@stefvi let me tell her before they disappear again

For a thousand dollars that wouldn’t bother you 😩🫣
KEEP THEM!
I guess I truly don’t care that much because I wouldn’t care about those pink lines! They’re shoes and I wouldn’t expect some wear and tear at some point
Wear and tear should come from the customer not the company

On IG I said return really it’s her call she should ask herself can I live with them like this this is a hard call.
Since its was only one shoe and its not so noticeable i would keep them. But if she truly cant live with the 2 pink lines get ya money back
Keep it.
I would return them, because that mark would drive me crazy! Hard decision to make.
I think she should go in store and see what they can do. Maybe LV can find another pair in her size that doesn’t have any flaws. I’m sure someone in the world will change their mind, don’t like, or maybe the shoe doesn’t fit.

I wouldn’t be surprised if those pink lines are caused by the red glazing of the leather piece above it before it got riveted down.
My exact thought
I would keep it, those lines is not very noticeable, it’s the reason for having paid so much that we tend to feel it needs to be perfect.
No no and no I would never keep anything with that big of a defect! You’re always going to see it and it looks awful. Sorry no matter how much I wanted them.
