I had a situation very similar to Chris' about 2 moths ago... Wife had left me for another man about a month earlier and I was miserable at my job, living with my brother and best friend and best friend's girl. Then I got a call for a tech support job for which I really wasn't qualified but they saw who knows what in the interview with me, plus it's tech support for bank software so the money is definitely there... 2 months later I'm paying off debt and loving every day of my job.

5 years of hard work, struggle and pain to achieve something that I always dreamt of. I wanted to be a doctor from childhood. But things got really difficult for me gradually. I had to go through a lot of hardships, lost one of my parents, didn't have enough money for better tuition. Still I didn’t lose hope. When I watched this movie I was so inspired and specially this soundtrack. My dream came true recently and I became one of the top 0.001% high scorers in the test this year. This part, this little part of my life is called happiness.

When watching this movie I feel the same sadness in my own struggles, but I get reminded every day that I should be grateful for the small parts of my life in every day waking up to my children. I also feel happiness being able to give my children food and shelter. Them being able to wake up healthy and alive gives me the biggest joy in my life. I may have to live pay check to pay check but I am able to give them an opportunity. This is how I feel when I hear this sound track to the point I get emotional with tears.

Today i graduated from college, it was a long ass 3 years of blood sweat and tears. I never felt this kind of feeling in my life, feeling of making your parents proud which never in my life expected to achieve that, the feeling of happiness i was pursuing, such a weird feeling but it was the best moment of my life.

It feels wonderful to see how people Can achieve their dreams, even with all the obstacles. Two years ago, my dad got cancer and this was a devastating moment in my life. I always watch this movie and got motivation and put all my effort to achieve my dreams.
This year, i beated depression, made real friends, got a real love and everything in my life are going better than i expected, and im very ansious to be in high school next year. A few years ago I was studying MBA, doing four jobs and living on salary. My wife left me as she didn't want to live with a man who lives on salary. Thank God, now I earn 5 times more than average salary. Sometimes, I look back at time and still can't believe how I managed to do 4 jobs, but only feel proud of myself. My advice is to never give up whatever happens in life. Just live and enjoy every moment while you can. 🎉🎉🎉

I can not understand. The essence of the movie is that this year, the staff of the academy, not even for a moment thought that this theme conveys? The film speaks of "perseverance," the song has a "Crescendo" that makes you realize it distinctly. Very rarely do I see a musical theme has an absolute relationship with the mood of the film. I always come to this movie whenever I need motivation. I'm an entrepreneur and I can feel myself getting closer to my dream everyday. I will get there, just like Chris. I know I can.

For me, the movie is about fierce fatherly love. It's primal with him and if fathers could love like this, oh what a world it could be. I've never seen a movie that so depicts fatherly love to this depth. I know it's about Chris getting the job and the struggles he ensues, but it all comes back to love for your child. To me anyway.

Thank God, now I earn 5 times more than average salary. Sometimes, I look back at time and still can't believe how I managed to do 4 jobs, but only feel proud of myself. My advice is to never give up whatever happens in life. Just live and enjoy every moment while you can. 🎉🎉🎉

I can not understand. The essence of the movie is that this year, the staff of the academy, not even for a moment thought that this theme conveys? The film speaks of "perseverance," the song has a "Crescendo" that makes you realize it distinctly. Very rarely do I see a musical theme has an absolute relationship with the mood of the film. I had one of these moments,out of work and applying to alot of jobs turned down from many. Finally a job better than the rest had said yes. I remember walking out of the building with tears in my eyes and i could literally hear this jingle. One of those euphoric moments in life

Sure, the dummies at the Oscars might not have thought it worthy of an award, but I think the millions of people who saw it, and I mean saw it for it's beauty and the plotline, really are the ones who should be judging it. This movie really reminds me where I was at one time being Laid off four times in my working career, and lived through some hard times. The last one really took all my motivation and felt helpless to support my three kids. The only thing I knew to do was to ask God to help me in this depressing and helplessness feeling. Some how my moment in life came true when I landed a job 4 years ago and now living my pursuit of happiness with my family. I've worked so hard every day, and in every job since I was 15. Now it has paid off. Never Give Up is my tip to anyone out there going through hard times. Now I thank God every day for everything.

For me, the movie is about fierce fatherly love. It's primal with him and if fathers could love like this, oh what a world it could be. I've never seen a movie that so depicts fatherly love to this depth. I know it's about Chris getting the job and the struggles he ensues, but it all comes back to love for your child. To me anyway.

I onced liked this girl, well i didn't really like her, i more liked loved her. I tried so hard and fought so much to be with her, and the day she told me she loved me back i happened to have brought my iPod to school, which had this soundtrack on it. When she told me she loved me back, i left school with this song playing, which happened to come on when i was on Shuffle mode. This song and soundtrack has a huge emotional impact on me since. This song IS happiness.
