These outdoor cameras are getting smarter with every new product. The sound quality is quite impressive. I wonder how difficult it is to hack one of these devices. Perhaps some research on this important aspect of camera tech. like 52
As your video shows the night vision on this camera needs improvement. I have some motion blurring. I've tried adjusting it with brightness setting. Hopefully they will improve the firmware. Otherwise I like the camera.

No POE is not the end of the world you can easily and cheaply add a switch that provides power over ethernet.

Setup and mounting done ok. First evening and the lens has fogged up!!! This was one of the problems that was supposed to be fixed! Not pleased, I will contact Reolink.

My E1 Outdoor did not have auto tracking. On Reddit Reolink forum I learned the firmware with auto tracking is on another firmware version. I went to Reolink firmware, uploaded the older version, then on my Windows Reolink Client I clicked to check for newest version which I downloaded and it has auto tracking. This is strange but I assume Reolink is working to improve auto tracking and won't sell E1 Outdoor cams with auto tracking until it's better. My E1 Outdoor auto tracks great horizontally but it cannot track vertically. It will follow someone walking across my sidewalk left/right/right/left but cannot follow someone walking from the sidewalk toward my front door.
What version is this camera? . . . I understand V3 will be available September 21. Early versions released were not good and further improvements made. Disappointed in the ghosting night vision and particularly the colour with spot lights!
Reolink has great day vision, not the best at night. Really hard for all brands to ID face at night when someone is walking/jogging/running. The Hook Up has brand comparison video about this.
Thanks for the review. I got an E1 Outdoor a few days ago. I like it. Still experimenting with it. All the functions in the app work for me. The one I got did not have auto tracking. Through the client program I downloaded the newest firmware with auto tracking. Auto tracking works, but it is only horizontal. It does a great job following someone walking across my sidewalk left/right, right/left. But the current firmware version cannot track vertically. If someone walks straight toward or away from the camera it looses the person in the field of view. This may not be a problem for many situations, depending where its installed. Other than that IMO it's a great camera for the price. The Reolink 823A is being released. It has auto tracking but I don't know if its both horizontal and vertical.

@@anshorfamily3649 As I said I used the client program on my computer to get the version with auto tracking, click the update button. Reolink may have removed this version though, maybe they are are improving auto tracking or will eliminate this function for this camera, I don't know.
@@markd.songsandstuff7728 I got the camera and works fine, the Client software from their main download page is version 8.3.2 with no auto tracking option. The client from their "all versions page" version 7.2 may have auto tracking. I haven't check myself yet but the interface is different.
Thanks for the information. I expect the 832A to only track horizontally because that's what their documentation is saying. But it would be great to know from someone who owns the 832A.

That's Reocrap for you. I love ripping them out and replacing them for better gear.
Most standalone cameras generally don't have PoE as they are mainly for standalone use.

Unfortunately you can't have a automatic zoom. If you had a Amazon fire stick you can stream.
