This did not help my mom uninstalled the app and reinstalled it a few years later so we can remove the pin and the app won't reconnect to my switch and the app keeps Trying to make my mom do the entire set up even though we can't and it won't reconnect no matter what we try

The best way is to contact them directly. It's more easy and convenient. Just Google the number from your country and call them. They are helpful. I called twice. The first one didn't help at all. He asked a lot of questions and finally did nothing. The second time, a lady helped me. It took less than 5 mins. Very friendly and helpful.

@@donnsanchez9212 hi. The first one asked many useless questions. He asked the console serial num and then he started asking me if the Nintendo is mine. From which country I'm from. And where I brought it etc. I gave him my email add and he said he will contact me again which he never did. Then after 2 days, a nice lady replied. She just asked my console serial num; my email address and the inquiry. That's it. Less than 5 mins . It depends on the operator.

For people who have forgotten the pin, and it has been linked to the app. But you dont know both, i have the site that'll help, but to do so, you need 50¢ (its so it knows its a parent trying to change the pin)

Nintendo charges you to reset the parental controls on the switch. There is no way i can find to format the switch with out the parental controls and nintendo charges 50 dollars to do this. What a scam they are running.
