Star Wars' most known tragic event throughout the media - Order 66 - has been mentioned and demonstrated in many scenarios in video games & cinematography flashbacks. The Snap (dumb name change to "Blip") should have more impact in the MCU than what peaks were shown in Phase 4, and maybe should've been more "Secret War" based story than "Multiverse" in my opinion. [shrug]
I was just thinking about what show watch reaction I would like to see again and this popped up. I love how you edited all the different reaction from the different channels. I found a lot of new reaction channels to follow from watching your videos.
More gender swapping from Marvel. I wish they would stop doing that. There are plenty of female villains in the comics they haven't used yet. Taskmaster was the final straw for me, they butchered that character.
That action scene at the beginning was awesome! I know this came out way before Mando s3, but now that I’m rewatching it in late 2023 it kinda gives me that vibe. Like some of their jet pack battles or that dog fight in ep3. I also feel so bad for Bucky. He feels so much guilt over all the lives he took and ruined and him trying to make ammends isn’t helping. We know he tells Yuri the truth in the end, but it’s clear the guilt is eating him alive. And then he sees Sam who he’s pissed at so that doesn’t help. I also feel like his therapist could be a little gentler with him. Like I get it they’re both soldiers so he and Sam respond well to being talked to firmly, but even so. She could be a little nicer.
The interesting part about the bank scene is that it takes me back to Civil War and the splitting of the Avengers: one side had all the money with Tony and T’Challa and a billion and a trillion dollar net worth respectively. Tony even gave Vision money for his house in Westview. The other side had the brokies; Steve, Bucky, Sam, Scott, Wanda, Clint probably still lived on his income from Shield. Very interesting.
After watching Secret Invasion, Rhodey is definitely a skrull, I would want nothing to do with the dude that made me handicapped. Also he was walking way too smooth
This show had promise but got too big for what it wanted to do. It ended up just failing setting up Walker properly, the villain's ideals were good but the villain herself was outshined by Zeemo. And of course them wanting to setup the whole double spy thing with Carter like the comics. Did too much and ended up with just an average show that felt like it had a lot of great things, but wasn't well constructed. This and Wandavision really had pretty strong starts but meh finishes and it just got worse for the rest of the upcoming Marvel series that came later, too much focus on just pumping out content.
