I think Rectus femoris originates in AIIS ( anterior inferior iliac spin ) not in iliac crest . Right?

Excellent video! I have a question. I can flex my knee without extending my hip, and vice versa So how can one muscle, e.g. biceps femoris, do two independent actions?

I've always heard that the vastus lateralis is the largest of the quadriceps muscles.
