hello Sir, is this in place now? , i plan on travelling 2nd of August 2024 for 2 months. just in case 60 days visa is not in place what would be my options for extension after 30 days.... thank you
You may have to reenter. We are eagerly waiting for some response from the Govt, for 60 days stay implementation which has still not happend yet. It has to happen this month but date is not yet finalised.

Hello I had a query - I am travelling to Thailand and staying there for 2 weeks ( have an Indian passport) and then going to Vietnam for another 10 days and then coming back to Bangkok and stay there 2 more days before catching my flight back to India. My question is will I be allowed to renter Thailand?
You can reenter but keep all your documents or onward flights tickets in check.

that is fine but keep it for 29 days for instance 29th of July. If you return by 30th you need to ensure that your flight back to India departs before 12:00 AM of 30th, because post 30th it will be 1st of Aug and if your flight departs at that time then you will exceed your stay period.
Hey, please update if we can go for upto 60 days, and get 60 days stamp. But if i get 30 days stamp, can i go to Vietnam or Laos or any other nearby country at the end of 30 days & come back after 1 day there & get stamp for next 30 days??
Well, it is going to start soon, but as of today before another announcement by the Govt. of Thailand it is still 30 days. You can leave the country to travel to Vietnam, Laos but your free visa will expire so if you reenter they will stamp your passport again with default 30/60 days. in this case you can show them your onward ticket from Thailand back to India or anywhere.

better yeh hai ki aap embassy se apply karo taki koi issue na aye. Nahi to visa form mein last name daldo jo passport mein nahi hai, lekin embassy ko contact karna sahi rahega

it should remain visa free post Nov 11th, because that is the tourism season and also India move to provide visa-free entry to Thai nationals in India.

you can go directly to the immigration and get your passport stamped free of cost. The scheme is valid until Nov so far

I arrived in Bangkok airport on June 6. I received only 30 days visa using my USA passport
thanks for sharing, actually there is delay in implementing the 60 days stay. I am looking for more updates and will share. USA visa is not required to enter Thailand.
