Tracie my dear, you are doing a SPLENDIFOROUS job on these deeelish pockets, and you are right about the combo of the napkins and the lovely text underneath, I think those two together are one of my FAVE combinations!!! And speaking of deeelish, I am, at the moment REEEEALLY enjoying a slice of chocolate cheesecake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course I have already snarfed all of the chocolatey bits, but the rest is super yummm, so no reason to be a whiney brat about having run out of the chocolate........................ok, everyone, don't be TOO jealous cuz cheesecake of any ilk is a VERY rare treat at my house......almost as rare as ice cream!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That other guilty pleasure..................... Was that a little TOO much sharing?? :-)
You got pretty hands, Wussa has a pretty little meow, you talk nice to Wussa, your work is beautiful and I'm gonna do it too lol. I also liked and subscribed.
Fabulous pockets love the simple steps and how they age gracefully. They end up like ladies dressed for afternoon tea😊 Great size for our journals holding our dreams and secrets. The rich honey coloured stain brings warmth and a feel of forgotten treasures. Do have camera on when you are making things its so inspiring. Like a good book you re-read your work is a joy to follow over and over👏👏❤❤ thank you for bringing inspiration to such unsettling times👏👏👏❤❤❤
The pockets are fabulous, I love playing with napkins and paper, and the stain is amazing. some day i may learn how to make things a bit simpler....then again maybe not....lol, Thank you so much for sharing. xoxo
Thank you so much Tracie, I really really love 💕 those pockets and I really really think 🤔 they’re very very useful, whether they’ve been done before, you have your own special way of doing them and they’re all really really stunning and gorgeous too. Thank you to bring sharing this with us all. I really really love 💕 it. Stay safe and well too xxx Mags
I love those pockets! Yes please turn on the camera when your crafting. I love to see your thought process when you put things together and to hear you talk with your wonderful accent. It's so cute when your kitty gets chatty too. 😄
Very nice, Thank You. Simple is sweet! Nice to hear your thoughts out loud, I talk to myself too, lol. I think it's helpful! Love the stain Patty has created, but shipping to Oz kills it 🙁. Always enjoy your creative process
Lovely pockets! love the aged edges of the book paper too. I spent all morning and most of the afternoon yesterday thinking it was Thursday.... apparently it was Fridays the whole time.... who woulda thunk??! Must be something in the water....
These are just fantastic!! Oooh they stain. love it... and thank you for saying I’m “cool”!! You made me smile!! Because I just love the way you say my name!! Lol! Have a wonderful day!!
Hi Tracie, I’m enjoying you being back. I too loose track of days as we’re back in lockdown here in Australia. The days fly by and it’s getting to be same old, same old. Thanks for this idea I haven’t tried it before. Lovely pockets, I’m off to try them now, will have to skip the sewing as I’ve mucked up my machine. Wish it was economical to get Patties stain to Australia it just the thing if you can’t or can’t be bothered tea dying. 💕👋🏻
These are so cool. Love hearing your voice would be great to hear it more often! Whenever you can. The Stain is super but to get from USA to Aus is sooooooo expensive I have found and ordered a Folk Art brand of stain to try. Fingers crossed. Anyway great to craft with you 🥰❤️🥰
That was a great idea to share! I have and use Stainz but have not thought to use it on envelopes and lace...I’ll have to try and see how the they come out. 🥰
Love the pockets and listening to you, please turn the camera on when you craft. I often have don't know what day it is especially since my Husband has been on furlough he went back to work today so I know it is Monday (ha ha). Thank you for sharing.x
Love these. I would love the Stainz but it’s a bit above my budget. It’s not’ expensive but above mine. Sooo I made a bit of a play and made something similar...definitely not the same just my budget friendly...
These are fantastic!! Love watching the tutorial. And...we have large BBQ where 1/2 is for the meat eaters and the other 1/2 for the vegetarians. Even have separate utensils also haha.
I have found that if you spray a little water on some laces and flatten them out it saves ironing. I’d love to have the stain but the postage is really high. 🙂
Lovely to see other craft when we a in middle of moving and everything is in moving boxes 😱 we have found a old farmhouse where we have much more room for our 4 kids and we have only moved 35 km away and still got so much more room and room for I can make all the projects I dream of. And pay the same as the city house we lived in with bedroom in the living room and no room for anything..a absolutely dream but I miss my crafting..I use it for getting some quiet time for me but OMG it is hard to moving.. i looking forward to my big craft room Please stay safe Blessings from Denmark 🇩🇰 Tina..( from the country side🤣)
Hi Tracie 🙋♀️, Just this afternoon I followed a thread from one of Carol Tinson's videos and found you 🙂 What a wonderful surprise this particular vid is cuz just last week I found a few books with pages like the beautiful ones you're using here and was wondering how I might showcase them best. I'm excited to make some of these pockets and I'm looking forward to sitting down for a few hours and binge watching some of your other stuff. From your newest subbie in the Southern California desert, MK ❤☀️🌵
I love these pockets! The napkins decoupaged on top of book pages is wonderful. I’m going to have to do that. Before we moved across the country in January, I had so many napkins I had collected for decoupage. In order to reduce our household goods, I got rid of nearly all my craft supplies. Now I wish I had those napkins! Have you used the Distress Collage Medium in Antique? I’m thinking about ordering it.
Love it tracie. Looking forward to more videos to watch from Western Australia.wondering is some jo sonja burnt umber mixed with clear glazing medium could be used or raw sienna
Love how these turn out, time to bring out some napkins. Would love to try Patty's Stainz, but shipping cost to Canada is sometimes even more than the cost of the product. I have one of the same napkins you used it is the one with the swirls on it and happens to be one of my favorites, Ever since I retired I have the same problem of figuring out what day it is, honestly It happened when I was younger too.
