Enjoyed this video very much, especially that most of it is in English, the only language I speak well (besides some Spanish). Live in the Caribbean but my ancestors were from India (Bihar, I think). But that is three generations ago. Glad to hear that this village has one school, and it is English medium. I have a foster daughter who lives in Barobisha, WB (near Bhutan) and she attends an English-medium school too. And another foster daughter in Orissa (Class XI - boarding school). I look at these videos to help me understand better the society in which they live. Have never visited India but hope to do so soon and visit those foster daughters mentioned above. By "foster daughter", I mean children for whom we (my wife and I) take almost 100 % financial responsibility and with whom we keep in contact via WhatsApp. Isn't technology wonderful !
The toto tribe seems very healthy, strong physically and freindly . I heard about them long time back from a reLative of jaigaon, but never had opportunity to visit the place. Thank you for uploading the videO. I WAS ALSO TOLD ABOUT DOYAS WHO LIVE NEARBY HILLS , could you plz make one video on doya tribe ?
We went there in 2017 for field survey.... They are very humble tribe but unfortunately I didn't get any toto there.... Cause gradually they are in extinct tribe
