He was one of the greatest and I am very sorry I never got to know him in person but my heart was always with him when I watch him sing in different places on video. His ministry was his voice. I play his songs for comfort. I play "Don't Wait" to keep me in check before the Lord calls me. What a voice this man was blessed with, yet so humble. So unlike most gospel singers who use their voices to get rich. God truly blessed him and I don't wonder where his soul went to. I know the side he is resting in. The side where Lazarus is, not the rich man.

I remember my brother-in-law waking me up, to tell me to listen to this tape by Lee Williams and I looked at it and heard all the singing that his group had done. Instantly it was like the holy Spirit just moved in my soul. Yes he was a singer for the Lord and he loved the Lord. I pray that his homegoing touch somebody so as well as when he was alive to be absent from the body and in the presence of the Lord and I know that's where he is. He inspire me so much when I am listening to his songs daily as I drive. Lee God blessing you for allowing millions of of people to enjoy your music and be saved as well. I loved the song you dang can't run, can't hide it really touch me and now my grandbaby who is 2 and a half years old she sang that song Everytime she gets in my car and we are driving.
