after 3 months of decorating since the very first day of 2.2, i finished this level! i personally think this is my best level so far. i am very happy with how this level turned out which is pretty rare for me. i am very proud of this, and i hope you like it too.
also, there will be a creator commentary video for this! i will not only share the building process of this level, but also some useful tips, my first experience with 2.2 and much more! stay tuned for the verification of this level and the creator commentary video :)

It seems like RobTop has had an inclination to avoid giving higher ratings to harder extremes for a quite a while though now.
I don't usually say this but chill out with the glazing and be realistic, we aren't talking about your rate standards, we are talking about robtops, if we had yours we'd have over a hundred legendaries just because people are using the 2.2 features pretty well.
You're probably one of the most consistently diverse design creators I could ever have the pleasure of knowing. Your growth ever since two years ago has been seriously immense. This is absolutely incredible, and each part wastes no time at trying a new thing in the most flamboyant way possible. Dare I say, this will be the first mythic level in the game. This... is beautiful. Dissonance captures the essence of the song incredibly well, and that transition into the ending screen is the cleanest transition into one I've ever seen. It's not a complete try hard and it's not boring, I can't describe it well but what I will say is that you can feel the magic of the halt that the descension from the final blue orb gives you.
Nope this isn't right, I can't only say just that, it just feels unfair to leave it at that so here's an essay:
I first discovered ImMaxX1 whilst I was looking through the GDDL looking for a new hardest to beat, when I saw Bismuth. So far ever since I've beaten Bismuth there's been nothing else I've seen that's gave me the same magical personality filled feeling Bismuth gave me, not even Maverick, one of my all time favourite levels & as of writing this my most recent completion which has the fun gameplay, the personality, the soul, the style, the decoration, but not that magic. Not that weird colour filled magic ImMaxX1 can install your brain, I've never gotten that feeling with any other level except Bismuth and somehow without playing it, without even experiencing the gameplay, or practicing through it seeing what makes it tick. I can feel that magic, that strange electrical essence that speaks to me like some sort of stylized animation of an electric pulse or wave or whatever it is in my head that's resembling a song filled with emotion. Weird magic so good it makes me think, nothing that's got me going "Oh this decoration is so cool!" "Wow how was this made in Geometry Dash?" that I'd think when watching CuLuC's most recent cherry team part or Bli's most recent ultra optimized real-world based part or Spu7nix's next 4D minecraft supernova recreation, I think no words. Instead the emotions that you felt through that song that you experienced which you then transferred into those objects you placed, which then transferred back into those feelings which then transferred into my head, is what I felt. Your emotions. That's what Dissonance is to me. It's not cool decoration, it's beautiful raw emotion, and there's nothing in a Geometry Dash level better than that.
What scales how good a level is, atleast to me, is how much of the emotion I can feel from the personalities, thoughts, and emotions the creator took from their levels song. If I find myself not seeing the creator place the emotion they experienced from their levels song into their level, I won't enjoy it much. But the stronger a level can do this, the more accurately I can see myself feeling the same way the creator felt when they listened to that song just by playing their level, hearing it, going through the gameplay and especially the deco on their thoughts, the more I'll enjoy it. And Dissonance does just this best, I want to say the "bestest" but well, that's not really a real word. Even just that right there, having to come up with new words because you can't express your feelings on this level proves just that.
Dissonance is not Change of Scene or iSpyWithMyLittleEye or WHAT or KOCMOC, it's different from all those. It gives the strongest raw emotion I have ever taken in from a creator, period. Therefore because of my logic and reasoning, for me this makes it the best level in the not game, but the whole medium of the editor.
Score: ∞⁺¹/10
EDIT: On the discussion of what rating this deserves, I'd like to say that atleast for me, this is the only level that I could probably ever be this confident on thinking of it deserving a Mythic/Godlike rating. I don't think I'll ever find another level I could say that on for beyond a while.

This is one of my favorites. Why it didn't get Mythic is because of RobTop equivocating Platformer rating with Classic rating.

Ok, so originally I wasn't really going to say anything but this level is so damn good and someone already wrote an essay so I thought I'd join in.
This level is genuinely perfect in every way a level can be and I mean that.
From the perspective of just how it looks it is mesmerizing. It is easily the most beautiful level I've seen in geometry dash. Honestly it's so well done it might just be my favorite piece of art like period. The colors the effects the way it transitions from one part to another is so seamlessly done and the colors are just so pretty and the designs and how it all comes together oh my goddd. I've been rewatching this video over and over again and I keep finding new details I didn't notice before. A lot of times it feels like levels are trying their hardest to look good but this is the kind of level that just looks good effortlessly. I really have no idea how to come up with words to describe this.
From the perspective of song representation, this level feels like you took the pure sound and thoughts and feelings I have while listening to this track and just materialized it into existence. It doesn't feel like it's a representation of the song it just feels like the song in a visual form. It fits so well with the mesmerizing alien sounds that the song has with it atmosphere and alien designs. It's such an emotionally charged level I can tell you really put your soul into this like I can feel it. I have no idea how you made this. And I don't mean like it's so technically impressive for the game, which it is definitely don't get me wrong, I mean how is it POSSIBLE for someone to just represent a song so well and make something that could make me feel like this. How. How the hell did you do this ImMaxX1 this is insane.
From the perspective of just a level in geometry dash this excels and goes above and beyond in every way. It's so unique and different in a way that I have never seen another level do. The use of 2.2 effects is amazingly cleanly done this feels like the kind of thing you'd see years into the update, not a few months after it came out. I love the use of shaders to emphasize certain sounds of the song and how you used animated objects really creatively. And the fact that this is such a difficult level just feels like the best choice for this kind of thing. It an extremely emotionally charged, beautiful level, and it's a crazy insurmountable challenge that can only be done by people who put their all into it. It stands for everything I love about geometry dash. And having played your levels in the path I have no doubt the gameplay is as fun as it looks. I wish maxisOLL good luck on verifying this.

Thank you ImMaxX1, from the bottom of my heart seriously thank you for this. This level is an artistic masterpiece and the closest I think we'll get to a perfect level in geometry dash for a while. All of your stuff has been sick and I've loved playing your levels and watching you grow as a creator. I hope you continue to make stuff like this, because holy crap is it good. If it wasn't obvious I think this easily deserves mythic, if robtop doesn't rate it as such I will show up at his address personally. Also congrats this is the first time I've typed more than like a sentence in a youtube comment.
