- Ghana's World Cup run back in 2010 was memorable and one of the best runs an African team has ever had in the history of the World Cup. Ghana had the biggest opportunity to advance to the semi final but we probably all know what happened next. One of the most controversial moments in World Cup history. Nevertheless Ghana did the African continent proud. Hopefully we will see a World Cup run like this at the next World Cup.

This is the fourth time Ghana is going to the world cup. I think it quiet an achievement for a small nation with a population of 30 million plus out of 54 nations on the continent to achieve such a feat. Ghana has done a lot in terms of soccer. I would have love to see the following nations from Africa in Qatar; Cameroon, Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal and any one of the north African countries. Be it Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco or Egypt. I'm looking up to USA/ Canada 2026 when the above listed nations will represent Africa.

Well Uruguay is not as good as the 2010 and 2018 squad, and obviously Ghana has not as much quality as in 2010 or in 2014...I don't see Ghana winning over Uruguay tbh, but who knows, revenge is always mysterious

Actually, if you watch the Ghana game against Uruguay their chance to score, denied by the unfair play by Suarez (absolute red card and appalling action), was wrongfully given free kick. There shouldn't have been a chance to begin with. Therefore they shouldn't have won anything in normal time against Uruguay.
