So thrilled for you! If anyone’s ever deserved one, it’s YOU! I’d see you zip thru sewing blocks on your lil baby machine, now you got the big daddy. And yes, keep your old machine, I had an old machine that had a perfect stitch no matter what I did to it, and for some reason I let my mom sell it at a garage sale, cuz I had another new machine, that I’d fuss with the thing to get a better stitch! Go figure. Congratulations. Build a sewing room and everything will come. And she is beautiful. And thanks always for our Trixie fix, love that gorgeous cat.
I love it! I have a Brother SE 400 embroidery/sewing machine (among others). I still haven’t used the embroidery function! I plan to do that this winter!
Congratulations. I have a MC 6700p. It was a Christmas gift. I had my previous basic no frills Singer for 21 years (she still runs and I’ll use her for traveling) but I needed something that could handle my hobby as I get deeper into quilting.
Congratulations!!! Last year I purchased an M17 floor model at the Sisters Quilters Affair (thanks to Mac Cox putting the notion in my head, LOL). It was the best decision, I just love that machine! You are going to have so much fun!!!!
I am so happy for you. When I bought my Baby Lock, I thought the thing I would love the most would be the thread cutter feature, but I now know that I would not have a machine without a knee lift, I absolutely love it for quilting and making clothes. Have fun.
Most importantly, your new 9480 is Trixie approved. Congratulations 🎉 I am anxious to see how you like the Janome.... I've been researching them for awhile. I want a couple of the bells and whistles. Thank you for sharing 😊
Congratulations on your new machine. Can't wait to see you sew with it. How heavy is it? I have the Janome Memory Craft 6600 and I love it but too heavy for me to take on retreats.
It has some heft to it for sure (I had to look it up and it says 30lbs) so it might remain an "at home machine" and my DC2010 will likely be my sew day machine :)
Congratulations on your new Janome! In December I upgraded to the Janome Continental M7 from the Janome 6600 that I had for many years. I love Janome sewing machines! I kept the old Janome machine to take to quilt retreats as the new machine is very heavy!
Congratulations. When I bought my new Baby Lock many years ago it did sew on for 6 months, I guess I was afraid of it. Now the one thing I use all the time.
I have this machine and love it! Did yours not come with the ASR kit? I'm in Australia, so maybe different regions have different inclusions. I wish you many happy years with your newbie.
This one did not come with it, but it is an add on feature that I can purchase if I desire. I was able to try it at the event I attended and struggled real hard with it lol. Luckily, it was not a big selling feature for me in the first place since I have my long arm already :)

Congratulations on your new machine. You are going to love it. I have had my 9450 for a few years and I am still learning new things. Enjoy!!
Congratulations, I am still using my machine I bought on my daughter's 1st birthday, so 45 years now!
That’s awesome! What kind of machine is it?
@Dranma51 it is Neccei, at the time I paid 600 for it. I know I need to upgrade , but I don't want all the fancy stuff now!

Congratulations on your new machine. I think this machine would be wonderful.
Congratulations.
Congrats! You should keep up with your FMQ for your smaller projects. You are pretty good. I know you don't think so, but practice helps!

@@terriblyrad I've only tried it twice so far, it's a bit intimidating. I wish I had the space for a longarm.
Congrats Sensei!
Wow that’s nice! I’m glad for you!
Congratulations on a new wonderful machine
Congratulations.
