I loved the arts and science of these pieces. Don't want to argue about it, but the perception I got was that this is what was happening behind the iron curtain, that a man, at some time and space, was under duress and had to look and act in such a way to escape the full impact of a societies intent to do violence [i.e. when they faced the wall knowing this would be requested] and walking as if they wanted to make it through a particular space without violence. The underground environment where they couldn't escape spoke too. So many artistic elements to give it that feel. Liked the fashions and hairstyles for the "feel" intended.
