Did anyone else notice the opener getting lost in the closing choreography? I can imagine a few production management/shooting schedule issues resulting in that being the shot chosen for final production. They were all such amazing dancers, so fun to watch. I love Junya's work and found the opener absurdly handsome.
As a huge Jamiroquai fan, I grinned through every second of this! The collection is so Jay Kay inspired and this was such an innovative way to present these pieces

This is phenomenal and the cloths are awesome. I love seeing the models dance and move so much, it lets you see what actually WEARING the cloths looks like. I want so desperately for this to become the norm to some degree.

Love Jamiroquai! This is so beautifully executed, and I am so happy that Watanabe and team took the time to work closely with Mexico’s Secretariat of Culture to ensure traditions and customs were upheld in this collab.

本当に最高なコレクションだと思う。ジャミロクワイの名曲をモチーフにしつつジュンヤさんらしくもあり新しいところが凄い。
この曲が出た当時、本当に毎日毎日ずっとずっと何度もループで必ず聴いてた記憶です。だからこのPVも頭の中に刷り込まれまくってたから、今になってファッションの世界で共生して再生されていることに本当に感激と感動を覚えます。このコンテンツをコレクションテーマにチョイスして深く作り込みにいったジュンヤさんは素晴らしいと思いました。閉塞したファッションの世界に、単純ですが心動かされる元気を頂きました。ありがとうございました。

おじさんっぽさがなくなりつつ、CDGが外れてユニーク性もありつつ、これまでのジュンヤっぽさもありつつ、90年代の名曲MVを使って、なんか知らないけどアーカイブ感も漂ってる。プリュスのノマド感も良かったけど、こっちはこっちで良きですねぇ！懐かしくて今までっぽくて斬新さもあり、絶妙なバランスです。にしてもモデルもjay kayに寄ってる。
virtual insanity から去年でちょうど25周年だったんですね。これでコロナのロックダウンがなかったら本人が最後に登場予定だった、、、とか妄想したら激アツ。。。
