I would say take your time but definitely start today. Never want to go to hard into something but just try reading the bible, asking people close to you to help you and pray for you and build a relationship with God by praying to him with literally ANYTHING on your mind.
Hey! I would suggest you start with prayer, a simple prayer. Just talk to God, prayer is a conversation between you and God. Talk to Him ask if you’re talking to someone close. And try reading the Bible, I would start off with John which is an idea of what Jesus’ life was like. The gospels all have the same core story but with different details. Matthew, mark, Luke, and John.

If christianity gives you purpose or closure, then you can do what you want. But please do not get manipulated to change your life to fit an ancient text. Many people have had their lives ruined by dogma.

Another reminder: Jesus isn't God itself. He is part of the Triune, but not the Heavenly Father. Jesus/Immanuel/*Yeshua instructs us to pray to the Father in Heaven with Jesus name so that we unclean sinners will be heard, cause God's standard is perfectly Good and Will ignore the pleas of evil. Also, Yeshua should have been the name used while he was alive here as a human, you can use any of his names, but I think it better to use that name.
It’s amazing how at the end both the girls admitted to having suicidal thoughts...Without God life just doesn’t make any sense. There is no purpose outside of him.

People that have murdered and raped etc. and never got caught out in this lifetime, people that have been the cause of atrocities in this lifetime and never sort after forgiveness or never got punished for it... Those be people will be judged by God someday and there will be justice for the victims...if we simply ceased to exist hereafter...where would justice take place? God gives us purpose in life and helps make sense of everything that is going on in the world today. He also provides justice for the unjust. We’re not here due to some random chance of nothing creating nothing and somehow evolving over billions of years...we are created in the image and likeness of God and we have meaning and purpose and value in this life and the life to come. God knows us intimately, he says that he knew us before we were in our mother’s womb, before the foundations of this earth was laid he knew us. He says that every hair on our head is not just counted but they are numbered so if hair number 9723 fell out...he would know which number it was lol My point is that he knows us, loved us enough to make a way for us to be saved from eternal capital punishment, saved us, cleansed us and gave us a purpose. God says that there is no one good but God. Our good deeds are like filthy rags in the sight of the Holy God. The Bible says that there is no amount of good we can do in order to save ourselves and that we are all dead and condemned in our trespasses...therefore, we need a substitution, one to take our place. Which leads me to the point I wish to lay emphasis on...the difference between Christianity and other religions is the man called Jesus Christ who was crucified,died and was buried and rose on the 3rd day. He took the penalty of our transgression against the law of God and paid it with his own life and blood. He met the standard of goodness(moral excellence) that we were unable to obtain because we were all born into sin and this separates us from God. The wages of sin is death but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus. No other religion/“god” takes our sins upon himself and pays the price for our sins himself. Every other religion says be good, the Bible says no, you’re not good and your “goodness” cannot save you but God alone is good and only he can save you. There is so much evidence that there was indeed a man called Jesus who lives in the Middle East over 2000 years ago who performed great miracles and who was crucified on a cross and died. There is also evidence of him being raised from the dead and being seen by many people over the course of 40days including a group of over 500 people at once. Christianity is also the best answer to the four main questions we usually ask of life. How did life come to be in the first place? To what purpose is my life? How may I choose between right and wrong? What happens to me when I die? There are so much resources out there if you really wanted to seek after the truth. How does your world view hold up to those four questions?

Teaching that hell, judgment, suffering, omnibenevolent Creator, Gracious Creator, redemption is reality isn’t, saying that we’ve earned judgment by our deeds isn’t either. The devil is the arbiter of sin, first to reject and have enmity towards our Source of Life. The fire was prepared for him and the other spirit beings who followed him in his rejection. So we humans did t start it, but we certainly partook in sin by rebellion also leading into physical and noetic destruction. We have agency of our own, and even though we weren’t first in line, and we were influenced, doesn’t mean we are without responsibility.

Tears in my eyes when those beautiful young ladies said they have suicidal thoughts. I know exactly how that feels. I'm praying that they will come to know Jesus and receive peace, love, and redemption.

@@traceyn.6004 Not sure how old you might be but if you have ever spent time with people in their troubled times, such as illness, bereavement , marriage breakup , redundancy at work, failed school exams or even a youngster who has been dumped by their girl/boy friend, then you will know that a common thought is suicide. As was noted above, it is all part of being human, and often simply a cry for help, best relieved by a friendly human (parent or friend) . The danger I have seen is that failure on 'spiritual' matters can lead to feelings of such deep self loathing that only qualified medical help will work. I suggest that Mr Comforts 'are you aa good person ' routine is in itself potentially harmful to the often vulnerable children he 'interviews', and leaves with little hope of salvation. Mr Comfort admits often that he , for all his bible knowledge and devotion , fails continually to reach the required standards for his god. What hope does a confused, teenager of reaching those standards?
I remember years ago before current technology when making a purchase, the clerk would put a stamp on my bill stating "Paid in Full." That's what Jesus did for us.

I was feeling very distant to the Lord for quite a long time and I didn’t know how to pray out loud anymore but when I talked to a friend of mine about it and when he prayed for me I knew immediately that God had helped me. Maybe you could try to talk about it with a close friend who is also close to God. Prayer is powerful and being prayed for in person is even more powerful! Wishing you the best.
Hello brethren, we all have struggled with doubt/uncertainty. And I have found that those thoughts are from the devil to try to pull us away from God and it works (for a short time) until I realize what is going on. It sounds like you realize it. Then all I have to do is tell Father what I am thinking (He already knows) and that I feel far from Him and I ask Him to bring me closer to Him and to strengthen my faith. And He always does. Everyday say "Jesus I trust in You" and He will make it happen by strengthening your faith. Just ask Him to open your heart to Him more and He will. Encouragement for you in Isaiah 41:10 "Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." God be with you, as He is my brethren.
I hate when I hear someone say they have suicidal thoughts... I pray right now those thoughts are replaced with the love of Jesus. If it seems no one cares just know He cares. Nothing is more important. His love will save us.

He knows what’s better for us, even if we don’t think so in the moment. I see times where I did or didn’t listen to God and what good came out of it when I did. And I think rather you should say “I’m not PUSHING you to go to church” because we do want more church goers, church is very important for new believers! So I would suggest switching these words around because they are important!

I was 5 years of chronic illness! I was Semi Housebound, lost my health, job, finances and my fiance left me. Another reminder: Jesus isn't God itself. He is part of the Triune, but not the Heavenly Father. Jesus/Immanuel/*Yeshua instructs us to pray to the Father in Heaven with Jesus name so that we unclean sinners will be heard, cause God's standard is perfectly Good and Will ignore the pleas of evil. Also, Yeshua should have been the name used while he was alive here as a human, you can use any of his names, but I think it better to use that name.
It’s amazing how at the end both the girls admitted to having suicidal thoughts...Without God life just doesn’t make any sense. There is no purpose outside of him.

God gives us purpose in life and helps make sense of everything that is going on in the world today. He also provides justice for the unjust.
We’re not here due to some random chance of nothing creating nothing and somehow evolving over billions of years...we are created in the image and likeness of God and we have meaning and purpose and value in this life and the life to come.
Christ gives us a hope that nothing else in this world can assure us of...eternal life in his presence, restored and redeemed. No more sickness and despair, no more death. No more suffering.
God knows us intimately, he says that he knew us before we were in our mother’s womb, before the foundations of this earth was laid he knew us. He says that every hair on our head is not just counted but they are numbered so if hair number 9723 fell out...he would know which number it was lol
My point is that he knows us, loved us enough to make a way for us to be saved from eternal capital punishment, saved us, cleansed us and gave us a purpose.
And he has a purpose for you too.

Every other religion focuses on our goodness/good deeds outweighing our bad deeds in order to be accepted or saved.
God says that there is no one good but God. Our good deeds are like filthy rags in the sight of the Holy God. The Bible says that there is no amount of good we can do in order to save ourselves and that we are all dead and condemned in our trespasses...therefore, we need a substitution, one to take our place.
Which leads me to the point I wish to lay emphasis on...the difference between Christianity and other religions is the man called Jesus Christ who was crucified,died and was buried and rose on the 3rd day. He took the penalty of our transgression against the law of God and paid it with his own life and blood. He met the standard of goodness(moral excellence) that we were unable to obtain because we were all born into sin and this separates us from God.
The wages of sin is death but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus.
No other religion/“god” takes our sins upon himself and pays the price for our sins himself.
Every other religion says be good, the Bible says no, you’re not good and your “goodness” cannot save you but God alone is good and only he can save you.
There is so much evidence that there was indeed a man called Jesus who lives in the Middle East over 2000 years ago who performed great miracles and who was crucified on a cross and died. There is also evidence of him being raised from the dead and being seen by many people over the course of 40days including a group of over 500 people at once.
Christianity is also the best answer to the four main questions we usually ask of life.
How did life come to be in the first place?
To what purpose is my life?
How may I choose between right and wrong?
What happens to me when I die?
There are so much resources out there if you really wanted to seek after the truth.
How does your world view hold up to those four questions?

If I’m raising them with the joy of Jesus, enjoying life with them by grace, teaching them to live life as humble servant to others. they’ll know the Lord and the Holy Spirit will convict them and guide them into all truth. They’ll witness joy first, a spiritual family, and the Love of God while conviction to repent and the understanding of judgement comes the comes from the Holy Spirit. They’ll know sin, experience it, witness it, commit it, and they’ll know the love of God.

Who created sin? When did sin start is more accurate question. The devil is the arbiter of sin, first to reject and have enmity towards our Source of Life. The fire was prepared for him and the other spirit beings who followed him in his rejection. So we humans did t start it, but we certainly partook in sin by rebellion also leading into physical and noetic destruction. We have agency of our own, and even though we weren’t first in line, and we were influenced, doesn’t mean we are without responsibility.

@@traceyn.6004 Not sure how old you might be but if you have ever spent time with people in their troubled times, such as illness, bereavement , marriage breakup , redundancy at work, failed school exams or even a youngster who has been dumped by their girl/boy friend, then you will know that a common thought is suicide. As was noted above, it is all part of being human, and often simply a cry for help, best relieved by a friendly human (parent or friend) .
The danger I have seen is that failure on 'spiritual' matters can lead to feelings of such deep self loathing that only qualified medical help will work. I suggest that Mr Comforts 'are you aa good person ' routine is in itself potentially harmful to the often vulnerable children he 'interviews', and leaves with little hope of salvation. Mr Comfort admits often that he , for all his bible knowledge and devotion , fails continually to reach the required standards for his god. What hope does a confused, teenager of reaching those standards?
I remember years ago before current technology when making a purchase, the clerk would put a stamp on my bill stating "Paid in Full." That's what Jesus did for us.

I was feeling very distant to the Lord for quite a long time and I didn’t know how to pray out loud anymore but when I talked to a friend of mine about it and when he prayed for me I knew immediately that God had helped me. Maybe you could try to talk about it with a close friend who is also close to God. Prayer is powerful and being prayed for in person is even more powerful! Wishing you the best.
Hello brethren, we all have struggled with doubt/uncertainty. And I have found that those thoughts are from the devil to try to pull us away from God and it works (for a short time) until I realize what is going on. It sounds like you realize it. Then all I have to do is tell Father what I am thinking (He already knows) and that I feel far from Him and I ask Him to bring me closer to Him and to strengthen my faith. And He always does. Everyday say "Jesus I trust in You" and He will make it happen by strengthening your faith. Just ask Him to open your heart to Him more and He will.

Love these videos! Only thing I’ve noticed is you saying “I don’t want you to go to church, or go join a group, or buy something”. And I think rather you should say “I’m not PUSHING you to go to church” because we do want more church goers, church is very important for new believers! So I would suggest switching these words around because they are important!

I was glad to see the one young lady seemed to be taking Ray more seriously than at the beginning. In this time of celebration of the death of Christ may their names be added to Your book of Life!!
I was 5 years of chronic illness! I was Semi Housebound, lost my health, job, finances and my fiance left me. I couldn't even look at electronic screen for 5 minutes, or hold a 10-minute conversation.
But God did an amazing work.
I now have a Christian Channel where I encourage people and show them what God did in my life and that there is hope for you also. ✝️🔥😊
