    Hi! Would like to try making this cake. Question- if I use a different cake pan like a bundt tin and also double the recipe, does that change the baking time bec it’s more ingredients?

      Hi, first of all thank you so much for trusting the recipe.
      Yes, the baking time increases as per weight and Tin size.
      I baked this in a 9* 3 loaf tin.
      If the surface are is less then it would take more time and vice versa. The recipe can be easily multiplied.

    I made this cake 9 times
    Each time turned out really great every one was praising 👌👍
    I added a pinch of salt and half a lemon juice. Fresh cream and orange for decoration

    I found this yesterdqy (2019) and just made it. It is delicious, i run a bed and breakfast and am always looking for vegan baking recipes that taste nice and arent full of super expensive ingredients. This is light and fluffy and delicious light orange flavour.

    One request, in the step by step transcript please correct as *until* instead of " unless" the tooth pick vomes out clean to check doneness of cake.

      Yes, use melted ghee, you might need to add little milk to adjust the consistency

    Hey dear...your receipe is really nice but want to ask you something. Can I use olive oil instead of vegetable oil???

      No, as olive oil has a particular smell and this might effect the flavour. So try to use any oil which don't have smell and taste. You can use melted butter as well. Make sure to omit salt if using salted butter.

      Hi Jacqueline, yes definitely, the temperature will be same but the cooking time will be 18-22 mns, depending on the oven type.

      You can add milk in place of yoghurt, but the yoghurt makes it more moist and fluffy

    I am going to bake this cake as soon as I can tomm morning. Can I replace the yogurt with eggs? 2? And veg oil with any other oil or olive oil? As my kid is allergic to hydrogenated veg.oil and all dairy products. But eggs is ok.

      If you are using eggs, then 3 eggs will do also omit baking soda and make Baking powder as 2 tsps. You can use a light olive oil which has less aroma or u can take 1/2 cup of unsweetened applesauce or 1/2 cup of fruit puree in place of oil.

      Baking powder ko total 3 tsps kar dijiye aur baking soda skip Karen.
      Baking soda is meetha soda only

      No, as curd would react with Baking soda and make the cake fluffy and moist.

      Whip cream cheese, Little butter, some orange juice and zest and sugar. The frosting is ready.
      Or you can also use chocolate ganache with some orange juice and zest.

    hi priyanka i tried ur cake today.. it was awesome in taste. every body loved it. But it was burnt from bottom. i kept it at 180 degree for 35 mins. still it got burnt from bottom. it was all black. Can you help me with this?

    I really like the fact that no butter has been added to the batter, that’s just what I’ve been hunting for, will be trying this out, but without the glaze part, I think, o. O I’ve changed my mind, the glaze does look great, I think I WILL be trying it out, provided I have enough orange juice to be able to do it
