Just did Falmouth to the Isle of Wight and back in a Front Cabin 270. Force 4-6 with 10ft following seas all the way there and some pretty aggressive 30 knots and chop on the way back, and she performed brilliantly. Quite often had green water over the bow and the cabin which makes the Front Cabin a safer choice for heavy weather as there’s no chance of water collecting and destabilising the open front cockpit while the scuppers and bilges work.
They build them like this for Fin/Scan area commuting between islands and the shore, so they have to be reliable in all weathers. The party boat / family exploring / etc. type yachting experience is very much a secondary use, though they do that too.
Love the boat, definitely nothing against the country, but I’m pretty sure it’s not a part of Scandinavia ;-) Scandinavia entails Denmark, Sweden and Norway ;-) The term “Nordic countries” adds Iceland, Finland and the Faroe Islands to the group :-)
I really like the lay out of that boat. not too much not too little. perfect
The reason the owners got rid of this boat was because everyone in the family have bruises on their legs from walking into that catch on the seat.
That seat catch looks lethal
Brilliant little day boat or weekender.
They look like such a huge amount of fun!!
Thanks Nick, brilliant as always. 👍

@@darthkek1953 very cool 👍
Hi Nick. The seat catch and the bow door are an accident waiting to happen at sea. Great video thanks 😊 MBY Jack would agree.
Sign me up for the cabin version with a galley layout
Excellent review, as always! Thanks Nick! 👍🏻😉🇨🇦😁
You mean A-loom-in-numb. Lol. InUSA. Always appreciate your insight. Couldn’t resist the poke. Cheers.
There are two Is in aluminium, we prefer to pronounce them both :-P
With the additional accommodation included that boat would be excellent
They did a 360 with twin inboards with sleeping at the front cabin and under the cockpit with wet head and galley. That’s the one for me

I guess this was your last boat tour for MBY. Great little boat to finish on though.
What about doing a review of another Finish brand Aquador and their 28HT or 30HT?
Have you done a xo 280 10S+ review yet and a comparison on sea trial comparison to a axopar 28 suggestion
Lekker man lekker
