You know I've done some snorkel videos and I've noticed that sound too, so I looked it up and you probably already know this but that crunching sound by the coral is all the sea life and crustaceans feeding and being active. 🤯
Curious what float did you buy. Do you have the link? And how did you hold your breath so long ? I notice alot of snorkelers holding breath pretty long. Does the snorkel help????
Float? I take a noodle with me sometimes but that's about it,,,, and just practice, there area a few free dive videos on RUclips that have good practices. I'm outa shape haha I used to go real long
We are going to be camping down in the Keys in September I might just have to check this out!! Smashed that sub button, cause this is right up our Alley
Not criticizing, because it sounds like there’s a lack of knowledge, but snorkeling under or near the pier is not recommended for safety reasons. You want to swim out a hundred feet south of the pier or more. You’ll hit the reef before long. Edit: I know the pier was closed for a while and maybe it still is. If it’s open, keep clear.
@@tblaha thanks for clarifying! Like I said, I didn’t intend any disrespect, just wanted to make people aware of the situation I was familiar with. I’m actually headed back there tomorrow. First time in a long time.
WOW!
So cool! The sound is awesome too!
Thank ya

Lobster season!!! Nice. Yes I mean it doesn't compare to the keys but def nice for a City beach spot!
Do you have any advice or an entry point to snorkel here? 🙏
Just at the pier is where we parked and went in at, then current pushed me south over the reef area
