My 3 yr old loves scuba divers. Once a week our day starts with him putting on his flippers, mask, home made tank and asking to watch Lily and Robert. He even has “Lily and Robert” scuba divers in bath. so thank you…..and it’s great footage!

Bravo, this is truly stunning! The month before, I was diving off of Puerto Morelos but I'm just a beginner. I used a Gopro as well to film underwater. How do you get such clear and colorful video? You know, I had left my red filters at home. Maybe that's how you get the clarity in your shooting.

I use a Scubapro G2 computer. My wife uses a Suunto Zoop Novo (yellow)
So cool. What depth was the footage take? We dove in cancun middle of September and next year we plan to dive Cozumel.
Most of our dives maxed out at about 80’.

Mostly Cedral Francesa and Palencar. That is what was open for diving at that time.

Not really understanding your question. One 20 min finished video can potentially represent 4-6 dives. I use a 128GB micro sims in my GroPro that can store video of between one to two dives depending on if I leave the GoPro running full time or turn it on/off for shots. Each dive lasts between one hour and 1.20 minutes underwater depending on depth and effort.

Most dives maximum depth to 90 feet. Average depth 60-75 Feet.
I know that you used the Hero 8. Did you have a light, or red filter on these dives?
Yes, Hero 8 with a Big Blue Video Light
How deep were you guys?
Generally our max depth is around 70' to 80' but try to average 50' to 70" to get more bottom time.
Me and my girlfriend are traveling there in like next month and she’s not that great of a swimmer, but I encouraged her to do this trip, is she gonna be safe down there?
A good dive company will take her to easy dive spots. There is diving for all levels in Cozumel.

Need to be a certified open water diver. But you can also take a “discover scuba” class before you get certified.

No filter but two Big Blue VL4000 video lights with the GoPro 8.

What is the fish at 15:07? I didn't scuba dive but I was swimming in cozumel and I saw one of those underwater and I don't know what they are called. Also can you accidently step on a stingray and get stung? There was one a few feet away from me that was completely camoflouged in the sand and I didn't even see it until I got too close and took off. It scared me cuz I dont wanna accidently step on a stingray lol
At 15:07 I was following a Barracuda, and swimming with the Barracuda is a small Pilot Fish. And yes people step on stingrays and get stung fairly often.
I dun know how to swim , can I still do scuba diving ?
The fact that you scuba in the water you should know how to swim first.

Mostly around Palancar Gardens, Cedral and Francesa.

At my age and ear problems, I'm retired from diving, but I'll share a thought for those here expressing a desire to try it. The one thing I enjoyed the most is feeding the fish, although I'm not talking about upchucking from sea sickness. I used to go to a pet food store and get fish food and bring it with me in a sandwich bag in my BC. It's amazing how you can draw a crowd of fish when you scatter a fistful of food into the underwater current. And dozens of them will subsequently hang out wanting more.
Pretty decent video but if you kept your gauges in place where they should be, maybe they would take you to some cool dive sites. Dangling gear kills coral. Also, you bicycle kick could use a little work. Keep the legs straight. But at least you having fun. Thanks for sharing.
Amazing visibility. Nice diving impression. The colors are not quite correct, the gopros white balance seems not to be perfect. This gives a special mood with the pink...Next time please double check your buddies tank, this seems not properly fixed, not in line with the body, and impacts the movement of the diver negatively.

RUclips police or not, the comments are accurate. The cylinder is completely loose, this is dangerous and should be checked when setting up and donning the equipment
