Thats why the Suzuki GSXR class of sports bikes especially 600cc and up are just pure dominance. I grew up riding dirt bikes and fourwheelers and just loved the adrenaline rush from going fast. Just a year or so ago I started riding street bikes, I started on a KTM RC 390cc. I really enjoyed the bike it was light and friendly, and you could just toss it wherever you wanted to go, however being 6 foot tall the bike was just too small and after spending a great amount of time on the saddle I felt as if I had outgrown it. I decided to step up a bit and just recently bought a Suzuki GSX-R600 in the Pearl Brilliant White / Metallic Matte Stellar Blue. This bike is a whole different animal and is absolutely a machine its miles away from my first bike the KTM RC 390. So much more comfortable and the sound is just intoxicating I love the deep growl it produces, but once you hit 7k or 8k the growl becomes this insane screaming sound which closely resembles a formula 1 car at least to me. Looking forward to getting more time in the saddle on this bike. Also I love the videos and content you are producing and providing for me and all the other fans you have, keep up the great work.
So even with a 50lb disadvantage the flashed ECU and exhaust, with the lowering strap makes up the difference against a stock bike of same engine size. Now, once yours is tuned Chris, its bye bye time even though its a kawasaki. 50lb less rider weight advantage you have is Big! Keep the videos coming, they are great and I'm always learning something!!🏍👍🇺🇸
The new Zx10 are beautiful bikes absolutely love mine even tho it was lacking stock after a full exhaust and tune its a whole different monster for about 10yrs I only rode R1s this was the first new Kawasaki I picked up in a long time so far I love it of course like anything else these days it comes so restricted but once you deal with all that there's a ton of potential as far as the shaking I see u fighting mine had a little death shake at high speeds but after putting some different tires on the bike it's been smooth as glass so idk whats behind that issue but tires cured mine
Not a chance. Especially if another rider Chris’s weight. Country is like 2 bills. Chris is like 160 and by sport athletic standards. Meaning he watches his diet towards his sport. Kinda why Motogp riders weigh like 140-160 but are like 5’10” if country got on a dedicated race schedule an serious sponsorship he’d weigh less than Chris.

I don’t care what other manufacturers do. More power, lighter, I’d still never pick another bike over a GSXR. I’ve been GSXR since the first GSXR 750 came out in 1985!!
My preference will always be for the Suzuki in the liter bikes and a tie between Suzuki and Kawasaki for the 600 and 636 bikes. Suzukis always make very consistent, linear, usable power, and the 636 is just an excellent street/track machine.

Hey Chris deciding between a 23 GSXR1000 or a 23 ZX10R KRT edition. I can get both OTD for a stupid deal. Plan on doing exhaust n tune (ECU is going straight to you). I’m 6’0 240 since you have experience with both which one would you pick? Saw the vid with a slip on and tune the ZX10 was making some serious power. Edit: I’m thinking the torque of the GSXR would benefit me more. Had a 2013 bone stock for 3 years before it got totaled by a drunk.
Rode one we have at work and I was assuming it had a break in tune? In 4th on the highway it felt completely flat, and my 90hp GSX650F felt more punchy, which makes NO SENSE. Odd and I could swear maybe it has a break in tune or something? It was very weird feeling.
It go off the gain...just LIKE if u in one gear and go to 3rd immediately its going to be flat.... but if u give it the right gain it pick up...u was scared i know.... u really have to goin to climb 3rd to 4th full gain...not an public street more like on a track

Do these guys do any road race/track day type setups or is all just straight line type stuff? If it’s all just straight line stuff, that kinda defeats the purpose behind the design for these types of motorcycles. They’re made to rip around corners and accelerate and brake for the next one.

The bike wobbles because you have a lot of the weight on the back, if you lean forward and put weight on the front tire, it makes it harder to wheelie and wobble

Okay I know I'm ignorant when it comes to like video stuff and all that but I have a serious question for anybody that can. How do you get the camera to switch views that fast like that while going that fast I know you're not holding a camera so how the heck does it switch views so fast?
I got 22 zx10 last month i rode it back from the dealer (75 miles away from my house) and i swear it felt like a glorified 750 i think my 06 gixer 1k would’ve did it dirty on a 60 roll
The 2023 gixer dynos even lower, welcome to the wonderful world of emissions neutering. ECU tuning is a must these days, no doubt. Mine rode like crap, you had to shift at 11k since it just died after that. It's a completely different beast now after exhuast change/airfilter and ECU tune.
The 06 GSXR1000 still to this day holds the worlds fastest stock 0-60 of ANY production motorcycle, so yes... the 06 would absolutely smash it. They also smash Ducati on the track no problem with a good rider!

I'd wager that a tuned 890, 948, or even 850 naked street bike would walk from that thing on a roll.... at least for a few seconds.

When do you dump the oil for the first time? After the heat cycles, before the wot runs? Or after actual miles?
I usually do the heat cycles then a few hard rides. After that it's ready to change.

What gloves do you use? I've noticed them in a few videos now. They look so much more pliable than most of the gauntlet style gloves I've come across.

It's an Insta360 camera. Look them up. Super cool and not crazy expensive.
